The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, June 15 Recap – Adam & Sally’s Double Promotion – Diane Uses Kyle to Bond with Jack

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 15, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will celebrate a double promotion while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) uses Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to bond with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

At The Grand Phoenix on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will discuss how it’s time to deliver the goods at the merger launch party.

Meanwhile, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will approach Jack to talk about Diane’s return as well as the discovery of his granddaughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also steal a quick moment alone with Jack and speak to him for Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) sake.

Although Amanda won’t be taking sides, she’ll think it sounds like Phyllis made a mistake that she’s truly sorry for.

At Newman Media, Adam will be curious about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) urgent need for him to be at this party since his text was so vague.

Sally will send Adam on his way as he promises to come back with a full report.

When Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) spots Diane, she’ll angrily wonder how many events Diane has to crash before she realizes she’s not welcome.

Diane will fire back about how dealing with hateful people like Abby will only make her stronger.

Afterward, Diane will tell Jack that she only cares about Kyle, but she’ll want Jack to be honest about whether she’s headed for heartbreak.

Since Diane will worry about the possibility of Kyle turning his back on her, Jack will agree to meet her at Society after the speeches and have a longer conversation.

Once Lily takes the stage, she’ll express gratitude for Jill’s support.

Lily will talk about how lucky she is to work alongside her brother and will really play up the family angle.

Devon will take his turn at the mic, but he’ll shut down the reporters attempt to get some details.

They’ll be pretty pushy as they work to find out more about Chancellor-Winters’ first few projects, but Devon will keep them guessing.

However, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will speak next and go against Devon’s wishes by announcing 50 podcasts they plan to release.

After Nate goes over a few details about those podcasts, he’ll insist each and every one is going to be spectacular.

Once the speeches wrap up, Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will take a minute to congratulate Devon and Lily on their success.

As for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), he’ll meet back up with Abby and talk about how well the arrest went.

Chance will believe he’s getting his groove back and finally feeling like he’s meant to do this again.

Abby will express concern since Chance’s latest case was dangerous, but he’ll assure Abby that he knows exactly what he’s doing when he’s on his game.

Back with Nate, he’ll give an interview to some reporters and insist he can’t give anything else away – though they’ll be pleased that he actually gave them something of substance earlier.

Next, Nate will talk to Devon and acknowledge that he gave up a bit more info that Devon probably expected.

Devon will insist it was more than a bit, but Nate will defend his decision and argue that he went with his gut.

Once Lily walks over, she’ll admit that Nate was right.

Billy will talk about the buzz Nate’s announcement is generating, so Devon will suggest everything worked out for the best – though the look on his face will tell a different story.

After Adam arrives, he’ll find Victor and learn there’ll be an announcement tomorrow morning.

Adam will light up as he finds out he’s Newman Enterprises’ new CEO and that he’ll be flying solo while Nikki steps down to COO.

Victor will confirm that Sally’s being promoted to the CEO of Newman Media, so Adam will be on cloud nine over all this good news.

Billy will bump into Adam moments later, so that’ll bring some bickering about business.

Adam will gloat about his new CEO status and point out that Newman Media will now have the full support of Newman Enterprises behind it.

After Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) flirts with Nate and praises him for taking her advice, she’ll introduce herself to Jill and hype up how brilliant Nate is.

Amanda will drag Imani off to scold her and order her to keep her distance from Nate for the rest of the night.

Imani will fire back that Amanda is the one who needs to back off!

Once Imani finally pays attention to Giancarlo (Antoine Grant), she’ll be apologetic over not spending much time with him tonight.

Giancarlo will get that it was a busy work function, but he’ll invite Imani to have a nightcap with him now that things are winding down.

Imani will act like she’s exhausted from the party and turn Giancarlo down.

Nate will also return home to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and find that she’s been sleeping on the couch.

Elena will be happy for Nate when he gushes about a risk that paid off and suggests he’s right where he needs to be.

At Devon and Amanda’s penthouse, they’ll talk about Nate going rogue at the launch party.

Devon will think Nate’s going to be a handful, but Amanda will act like he’s still new and won’t think Devon should go looking for trouble.

Instead, Amanda will want to focus on the tremendous night, which isn’t over yet. That’ll lead to some passionate moments between Devon and Amanda.

As for Lily, she’ll tell Billy that she couldn’t have done all this without him.

Billy won’t think he did much at all and will insist he’s here to support Lily in her success. After Billy gives Lily full credit for her accomplishments, he’ll seem glum as they hug.

At Newman Media again, Adam will bring Champagne and some positive updates.

Sally will be amazed over Adam’s Newman Enterprises CEO promotion as well as her own promotion at Newman Media, so they’ll commemorate this moment with some steaminess.

At Society, Jack will admit he doesn’t think Diane is wasting her time with Kyle. From Jack’s perspective, he’ll believe Kyle genuinely wants Diane back in his life.

That’ll make dealing with the rest of Genoa City more bearable to Diane, who’ll hope that maybe Jack will find a way to tolerate her eventually.

Jack will stick to his claims about being neutral – though he’ll reiterate that Diane will regret it if this is some kind of façade.

Diane will assure Jack that it’s not an act and will apologize for her presence causing problems with Phyllis.

After Jack declares the topic of Phyllis off limits, Diane will understand and try to swing things in a more peaceful direction again.

Once Nikki arrives with Victor, she’ll fume at the sight of Jack with Diane.

Although Jack will get Diane out of there in a hurry, Nikki will wonder why he’s even spending time with her.

Furthermore, Nikki will question why people like Diane and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) are so easily forgiven!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland and Diane’s storylines will bring more bombshells, so stay tuned.
