The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, June 29 reveal that the episode featured Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) getting into another fight with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) demands answers when sees Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) celebrating with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Jack Abbott Softening
Y&R spoilers reveal that in the episode that airs on Wednesday, June 29, Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) have a rather pleasant conversation.
Jack is noticing how good Diane is with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). Diane and Jack both talk about the importance of family.
Jack also mentions that he can see how hard Diane is trying to turn things around.
Diane admits that she might have made a mistake with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Diane explains about asking Kyle to help her get a job.
Diane tells Jack that she won’t let Kyle pay her way forever. Diane wants to put down roots in Genoa City, which includes supporting herself.
Diane suggests it was a bad idea to ask for Kyle’s help with getting her hired somewhere.
That’s when Kyle and Summer walk in.
“Skyle” offer Diane a job with the new Marchetti. After some back and forth, Diane accepts and asks to take everyone out to celebrate.
It should be noted that Summer seemed enthusiastic about going out with Diane. In fact, it was Summer that nudged Kyle to accept the invitation.
Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Summers’ Demand
On Wednesday, June 29, Phyllis got caught up with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Phyllis goes over the latest conversation she had with Jack.
Even though Amanda is surprised by Jack’s callous comments, she suggests Phyllis get control of herself. Amanda says that Jack is hurt right now, which means Phyllis has to rein it in and be patient.
Later, Phyllis happens to see Jack, Diane, Summer, and Kyle dining together. Phyllis watches as everyone is smiling and laughing, then share a toast.
This prompts Phyllis to confront the group. However, Summer immediately takes her mother aside to prevent a fight.
While glaring at Diane, Phyllis demands to know if Diane’s job is the same one that Summer offered to her in Milan.
Summer assures her mother that Diane has a junior-level position while she was going to put Phyllis in charge of marketing.
While hugging Summer, Phyllis can’t stop shooting darts at Diane.
Imani Benedict’s Drama
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) runs into Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) health is brought up and Imani uses the opportunity to take another dig at Elena.
Imani says Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) support means everything. Then, Imani makes a joke about knowing where Nate is more often than his own girlfriend.
Later, Nate talks to Imani about the idea of Elena coming on board at Chancellor-Winters.
Imani tries to say that they are too busy to work on Elena’s contract.
However, Nate says it’s a personal favor to him. Nate also adds that Elena is going out of town, and this piques Imani’s interest.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Lawson’s Opportunity
Chelsea meets with Chloe and tells her about the offer to work as a lead designer for the new Marchetti. Chelsea is clearly excited about the opportunity.
However, Chloe tells Chelsea to turn it down. Chloe brings up that all Chelsea does is daydream and sketch.
Chloe makes it clear that she is the one who deals with the “harsh realities” of the fashion industry.
Chloe makes a lot of hurtful comments, which causes Chelsea to fire back. It sounds like this perfect partnership is about to crash and burn.
