The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 8, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spill a secret to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes an ominous Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) promise.
First, Nick will be frustrated over Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) getting caught in Ashland’s web again.
Since Nick doesn’t believe Ashland is capable of change, he’ll no doubt think Victoria’s signing up for more pain.
When Sharon spots Nick, his concern should be written all over his face. Nick knows he can trust Sharon, so he’ll divulge news about his latest family drama.
Sharon should learn that Victoria has decided to leave Newman Enterprises and is threatening to leave town as well.
Nick will hate feeling so helpless when Ashland has so much power over Victoria – at least in Nick’s eyes.
However, Sharon will be there to support Nick and perhaps remind him that Victoria is a grown woman.
Whether Nick likes Victoria’s choices or not, she’s entitled to make them.
That said, Sharon certainly isn’t a fan of Ashland and will understand Nick’s outrage. Once Nick opens up, Sharon will dish out some advice and hopefully provide some comfort.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are also set to return from their honeymoon within the next episode or two.
It turns out Tessa and Mariah will catch up with Sharon before facing a big surprise – one that could lead to some challenges for this couple soon.
In the meantime, Victor will make a bold declaration. Y&R fans know Victor is all about protecting his family, so he’ll promise to do what he’s always done – no matter what it takes.
Victor will refuse to let Ashland ruin Victoria’s life or cause any more destruction for the people he cares about.
After Victoria tells her father goodbye, it won’t be long until Victor decides to confront Ashland and threaten him in person.
This sounds like a great setup for Ashland’s eventual murder mystery, so we’ll give you updates if this story indeed takes a deadly turn.
