The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, June 7 Recap – Victoria Quits Newman, Proclaims Independence – Adam Proven Right

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 7, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will quit Newman Enterprises and proclaim her independence. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be proven right, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will seek updates from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and learn Victoria is still conflicted.

Nick will wonder how they can convince Victoria that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is toxic, but Nikki won’t have any answers.

In Ashland’s hotel suite, Victoria will insist she needs to take a bold stand.

After telling Ashland that she chooses him, Victoria will want a fresh start away from Genoa City and the people there.

Ashland will like the idea of running away together for real, but he’ll push Victoria to consider the consequences – especially when it comes to her children.

However, Victoria will feel confident that she can work out an arrangement with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

As for Victoria’s family, she’ll contend that they can either accept her decision or not.

Even so, Ashland will suggest that Victoria should leave him out of it when she declares her independence or else she might trigger a reaction she’s not prepared for.

At Newman Media, Adam will have a strong suspicion that Victoria wants Ashland to stick around.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will act like that simply fits Adam’s narrative, but Adam will argue that his ambitions aren’t the issue.

Adam will feel like Ashland still has a hold on Victoria, but Victor will counter that there’s no way she’ll be pulled back into that man’s clutches.

Victor will defend Victoria as someone who’s too smart and too strong to fall for Ashland’s bull again.

At the Abbott house, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will mention that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) left for a visit with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and will hope it’ll be a good Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) diversion.

While Summer’s chatting with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Diane will show up and hope they can all go out for breakfast.

Jack will decline and reassure Summer, who’ll be worried considering how tense things seemed with Phyllis before.

Once Summer, Kyle and Diane leave, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will bond with Jack as they discuss Keemo Nguyen (Philip Moon) and how much he loved working in the Jabot lab.

Allie will also mention her podcast discussion with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), so Jack will seem curious about that.

Since Allie will be meeting Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) at the coffeehouse ahead of her lab tour, Jack will seem even more intrigued – like perhaps Allie is hoping to run into Noah there.

At Society, Diane will get positive news about Marchetti and how it looks like Jabot’s acquisition is going to work out.

Although Diane will have plenty of regrets about the past, she’ll want to be there for Kyle and Summer during this transition period.

Moments later, Ashland will show up to insist he knows Victor was behind the restraining order.

Although Ashland will rant about Kyle putting Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) in a painful situation for Victor’s revenge, Kyle will argue this is about protecting his son.

Ashland will request one last visit with Harrison before he leaves town, but Kyle will make it clear that’s not happening.

After Kyle and Summer head out, Diane will express sympathy to Ashland and hope they can continue her friendship.

Ashland will admit that won’t be possible since he meant what he said about leaving Genoa City.

In that case, Diane will wish Ashland luck in his fresh start. Ashland will be appreciative and suggest it might be the best decision he ever made.

Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack will talk to Kyle and Summer about their amazing presentation.

It turns out the vote was unanimous, so everything will be falling into place for the Marchetti purchase.

Summer will just wish Diane and Phyllis could lead to coexist peacefully, but Jack won’t seem hopeful about that.

Although Summer will feel like she’s missing something, Jack will think they should focus on counting their blessings and moving forward.

Next, Victoria will text her family members and ask them to come to her office.

Once Victor, Nikki, Nick and Adam arrive, Victoria will launch a speech about the moves being made behind her back.

Victoria will have a problem with the restraining order in particular and will think Victor went too far.

After Victor defends his actions, Nikki will agree that Harrison had to be protected.

Victoria will think this is about protecting her instead and will be so sick of all the manipulation.

Since Victoria will be done with her family trying to control her, she’ll declare that it ends now.

Victoria will announce that she’s leaving the company and this town so she can go somewhere to start over.

Victor will try to get Victoria to come to her senses, but Victoria will fire back that she’s choosing freedom.

Nick will think Victoria is really choosing the man who lied to her and used her.

Nikki will then ask if Victoria’s talking about leaving town with Ashland.

Victor will agree that Victoria needs to be honest and will wonder if Ashland is coercing her in any way.

Victoria will rant about how Victor isn’t hearing her – and even if he could hear her, he wouldn’t understand.

That said, Victoria won’t care if Victor and the others understand anymore.

For the first time in her life, Victoria will be proclaiming her independence and reclaiming her life.

“That’s why I’m leaving,” Victoria will insist.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria’s declaration will lead to major drama, so stay tuned to Y&R!
