The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, November 23, tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will cause some Abbott dinner drama while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tackles a Newman crisis. There’ll be plenty of family conflict as Thanksgiving approaches, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Victor will take charge when it comes to some Newman turmoil.
That may involve forcing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to keep the peace long enough get through the holiday.
Of course, Nick and Adam may have to avoid each other if that’s going to happen.
Due to the Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) situation, Adam and Nick’s hostility level is through the roof.
Victor will eventually form a plan to dig for Sally dirt, but he’ll mostly focus on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and their many blessings for now. Thanksgiving always brings an attitude of gratitude in Genoa City, so Nikki and Victor will choose to embrace that.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll have a reason to be grateful as well. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will surprise Phyllis with his homecoming and leave her thrilled to catch up with her son.
At the Abbott house, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will fume over Diane getting a dinner invitation.
However, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will want his mother to join the festivities, so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will let Diane stay for the gathering.
Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) will love having his “Didi” at the table, but Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will remain uneasy about Diane’s presence.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will also be on hand for this Abbott family meal, which will bring a suggestion from Jack at the head of the table.
Jack will think they should all take turns sharing what they’re thankful for, so Diane will use this opportunity to lay it on thick. You can bet Diane will tear up over how much she loves having Kyle and Harrison in her life.
Ashley will still feel like Jack is giving Diane way too many passes, but she may clam up long enough to get through the Thanksgiving feast.
