The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 5-9 teases that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will plot an escape route while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) faces a tricky situation. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will also do his best to manipulate Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so some tight spots are coming up Genoa City.
For starters, Diane will feel the walls closing in with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in the picture again.
The threat will become too much for Diane to bear, so she’ll pack her suitcases and prepare to flee.
Although Diane will plot an escape route, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) or Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might catch her with those packed bags.
Even Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) could get involved and beg “DiDi” to stay if he spots her trying to leave.
Whatever the case, it’s not like Diane to run away from a fight.
There was a time when Diane was willing to abandon Kyle, but she may eventually realize she has to keep her promise to stick around this time.
Over with Tucker, he’ll do something that’ll rile Ashley up.
Tucker will rush to his own defense after Ashley voices her disapproval, so she may question his shady agenda.
Although Tucker is juggling multiple motives for being back in town, winning Ashley back is his priority.
Tucker will downplay any devious behavior and try to manipulate Ashley’s emotions so he can keep inching toward a reunion.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have another tense conversation with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Chance told Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that he wouldn’t spill her cheating secret, so we’ll see if he can keep his word on that.
Regardless, Victor won’t be pleased when he gets updates on Chance pushing for a divorce.
It’ll seem like Victor’s recent warning meant nothing, so he may once again urge Chance to reconsider and try to salvage his marriage.
However, Chance clearly has zero hope in his future with Abby at this point. That could mean Chance will dig his heels in and insist divorce is the only option.
There’ll also be a tricky situation for Nate, who’ll find himself trying to undo some damage.
Despite inviting Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to come along on his Los Angeles business trip with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), he might have to take back the offer.
If Victoria ultimately wants this trip to be just the two of them, she may spell that out to Nate.
It could leave Nate scrambling to let Elena down gently, but she may fume at Victoria anyway.
There’ll be much more drama if Nate and Victoria end up in Los Angeles alone, so stay tuned to see if a steamy betrayal is brewing.
