Tonight’s 7 Little Johnstons episode begins with Amber, she ells Trent that is time to Facetime Alex while he is in Ohio with Allie. it is Allie’s birthday, they wish her happy birthday.
Alex says he was on a tractor, when he was a child he loved being on a farm. Trent asks Alex if he kept the whole house up with his snoring he says no. Alex can’t believe they said something so embarrassing. Then Trent asks Allie if she snores, she says no. Alex says he has good news, Allie is going to go to his homecoming.
Emma is so exciting about homecoming, Anna and Elizabeth are working with her to practice hair and makeup. Amber is happy they are working with her, but she wants soft and natural.
Anna remembers her prom and all the dresses she died on. Emma a lot of dresses, she goes to try them on. Elizabeth says they have to make sure that mom and dad approve. They love the hot pink one, but it is short and they are not sure it is up to mom’s dress code. Emma was getting worried, but the last one seems to get the stamp of approval, and when Amber comes in the room she says she likes it. They want their kids to stylish and trendy, but classy.
Trent and Amber talk about the gym he wants to build, he tells her he wants mirrors so he can see himself working out and she starts laughing. He says this time next year, they are going to do a photoshoot. She tells him that she doesn’t want him to look that defined, like it consumes his life.
Alex and Allie went out to dinner with her parents, then they sit down and she opens her gifts from him. She loves everything, but the necklace the most.
Trent speaks to Anna about her meditation session with Jonah, he and Amber are hoping that Anna will realize that therapy is good and can help. Anna admits sometimes she gets overwhelmed and takes it out on people, she agrees with her parents, she is open to therapy.
Alex is back home, he is unpacking when Trent walks in and calls him “Loverboy.” Alex tells them that Allie’s family Tok him out to dinner, he met her parents and siblings. Amber says she met Allie’s mom, dad and sister. Amber asks if he kissed her, he says no and Trent puts his head in his hands. Amber looks at Trent and says he didn’t get a kiss until their third visit. Alex says the trip was about getting to know her family, and she told him ahead of time that she wasn’t ready for a kiss and he wanted to respect that. Alex says Allie is cool and beautiful, and she can drive a tractor, that is cool. He admits that he got a little emotional when he left and he went through security.
The next day, Amber and Trent head out to check out the place that Elizabeth and Brice are thinking of buying. They are a little concerned about the location, she starts working at 3:45am and will have to leave the house at 2:30am. They are both going to be over an hour from work. Trent says this is a no-brainer, this is not a home he wants his daughter to live in.
Trent and Jonah are with Alex to go suit shopping for his homecoming, he wants to go with a navy suit, a tie to match. Trent wants Alex to get Amber’s opinion, but Alex says no, he knows what he wants. Alex and Jonah are looking around, Jonah tells him that he thinks he would like to explore his idea of working with him in the dealership. Trent is happy, he thinks it will work out on multiple levels. Jonah is excited, he thinks it is time to take that next step.
Amber meets alone with Elizabeth so she can talk to her about the property she and Brice are looking at, this could be a tough conversation. She tells Elizabeth there is a lot of concerns and the only pro is the land, nothing else. Elizabeth understands her parent’s concern, but she has been struggling to find a house because she is 20 years old, it is her age and this one they are accepted. Amber tells her location is number one, acreage doesn’t mean anything at this point in her life and she doesn’t feel comfortable her moving out there.
