Eddie asks Danny to help her bust a cop impersonator; and Erin hires an image consultant to help with her D.A. campaign.”

Tonight’s Blue Bloods episode begins Jamie making an arrest regarding a luxury car theft. Eddie and Luis arrive on the scene of an armed robbery. The perpetrator is tied up, the clerk tells them that a cop tied him up and took his gun, said he was an officer and had another call.

Erin is working on a speech that she has to give, she tells Anthony she is not an actor, she is a lawyer and has a hard time practicing. He tells her that she has to be both if she wins to be DA.

Officer Douglas is shot, for a subway fare, he was on solo patrol. It’s a pilot program where the officer patrols alone and Frank wants daily updates on this one, he doesn’t like it.

Zach and Jamie are interrogating the guy they picked up for car theft, Jamie tells him that he is looking at 15 years if he doesn’t talk. Zach didn’t go hard on him, Jamie tells him to next time use his instincts he shut him anyway.

Eddie is concerned that there is a guy going around impersonating a cop.

Frank wants Douglas to have a partner when he returns to patrol in the subway. He makes is clear to Garrett that he doesn’t like the program.

Eddie shows Danny surveillance video of the “fake” cop, Danny says he has no cape or tights, he is not a superhero, he is polite impersonator.

Danny and Eddie respond to a call, there was a robbery, a cop showed up in plain clothes, took the robber down, tied him up and left. Eddie doesn’t get how the guy responds to calls before the cops.

An image consultant sent a stylist to make Erin look DA ready, Anthony is impressed, he tells her that she looks fantastic.

Jamie tells Zach that he is going undercover for the case, he can’t have him do it because he got soft. Zach says he is feeling like he let him down.

Danny and Eddie go to see a security supervisor, who is a former NYPD detective. He fits the description of the guy who answered the calls, and works in the area.

The guy admits it to it, he says he was in the neighborhood. Danny reminds him that he turns in his gun and shield eight months ago, and his police powers. He broke the law, Danny tells him it is crime what he did and wants him to take a ride with them.

Jamie is undercover, he has to hot wire a vehicle.

Eddie and Danny check their guys career, he was a good cop. He got bounced for pushing back his superior officer for goading him.

Two more incidents happened with cops on solo patrol and they were swept under the rug by chief Gallagher, Frank is not happy.

During Sunday dinner, the family finds out that some presents for Christmas were re gifted and Henry says rule of thought, cash is king. This brings up the subject of a watch that the family bought for Frank, he never wore it and he comes clean, it was a nice thing, but it was to showy for him, so he returned it.

Jamie is on patrol and a security cop catches him and the car thieves, bullets go off and the two thieves are questioning Jamie, they check him for a wire and find a tracking device under the vehicle – they know he is a cop. Things go sideways, but Zach and a team find Jamie, he put a tracker in his ball cap.

Eddie wants Danny to put in a good word for their guy who was impersonating a copy and he doesn’t want to.

Danny and Eddie then respond to a jewellery heist. Shots are fired with a machine gun, Danny and Eddie hit the floor. All of a sudden, their impersonating cop saves the day. Danny tells him he owes him one, now he needs his gun and his shield, he has to take him in.

Erin tells Anthony she is going to fire her consultant, she doesn’t like the commercials she filmed, win or lose she wants to be herself. Then, Erin gets a call, they tested the commercial, it scored higher than any other spot they produced. She has a change of heart.

Gallagher tells Frank that he did not report those incidents, and he is sorry he didn’t tell him about them. Now, the mayor is blaming Gallagher and wants him gone, but Frank says he doesn’t run this department, he does. Frank told him that he would be reprimanded but would remain the chief of transport.

Frank brings in Sid regarding his impersonator, Sid says the comiissioner is opened to restating him, as long as the DA agrees. Frank and Eddie leave the room. Frank tells her the guy deserves a second chance, her voice wouldn’t let up in his ear.
