Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, May 8, reveals that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) wasn’t able to hide his head wound from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), so he came clean about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) punching him for sleeping with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
However, Eric insisted they were high on drugged biscuits at the time and denied that it meant anything.
Marlena wasn’t so sure about that since she’d looked into the biscuit situation and didn’t see anything in the ingredients that would cause an increase in libido.
Eric felt that Nicole needed to be given a heads-up on EJ’s newfound knowledge, but she wasn’t picking up her phone.
Marlena was more concerned about getting Eric to a doctor so he could get stitched up and avoid infection, so she dragged him to the hospital.
At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) admitted to EJ that she’d taken Nicole to the ER, but she still suspected Nicole might’ve been faking it.
Gabi acted like Nicole was being a drama queen, but EJ thought Gabi was coldhearted and should’ve stayed with Nicole during her crisis.
When Gabi tried to walk past EJ, he grabbed her arm. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) appeared and pushed EJ to get his hands off Gabi before receiving updates on Nicole’s hospital drama.
Once EJ rushed off to meet up with Nicole, Gabi and Stefan got on Nicole’s laptop so they could change her performance review.
After Gabi deleted all the complaints and rewrote it with tons of praise for Stefan, they sent the email and headed upstairs for lovemaking.
In Nicole’s exam room, she reeled over Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) pregnancy news since she was on birth control, but Kayla pointed out that it wasn’t 100-percent effective.
Nicole acknowledged the fact that this pregnancy was dangerous due to the complications she’d had in the past and admitted she didn’t know who the father was.
Once Nicole explained how she slept with Eric during the drugged biscuit fiasco, EJ showed up.
Nicole asked for a moment alone with EJ, so Kayla said to find her later so they could discuss follow-up care.
Next on Monday’s DOOL show, EJ revealed that he knew Nicole slept with Eric thanks to Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty).
Nicole tried to act like Sloan lied because of her hatred, but EJ pointed out that Eric confirmed what went down.
Eric understood that Nicole was drugged and was worried instead of angry now that he knew she was in the hospital.
Nicole was apologetic for lying to avoid a blowup and tried to act like she just had a bad reaction to something she ate.
EJ didn’t buy that since Kayla mentioned something about follow-up care, so Nicole lied about potentially entering the early stages of menopause.
Since Nicole acted like she was just embarrassed, EJ was relieved to know that’s all it was and assured Nicole that she was as desirable to him as ever.
Meanwhile, Kayla dropped a file during her interaction with Eric and Marlena. Although Eric tried to pick it up, Kayla urged him to leave it since it contained confidential patient information.
After Eric got stitches, he ran into EJ near the elevator. EJ lied that he was there to have his hand checked out following the punch.
Since EJ and Nicole worked everything out, he suggested they should just pretend her one-night stand with Eric never happened.
That worked for Eric, so they parted ways without discussing Nicole’s hospitalization.
Back in Nicole’s exam room, Kayla talked to her about doing a paternity test in a few weeks using a DNA sample from one of the possible fathers.
Until then, Nicole insisted no one else could know she was pregnant.
In Greece on Monday’s Days episode, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) worked to ease Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) mind about Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) helping with the search for Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow).
As she met her captor on the fishing boat, Kate knew Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) by his reputation since he’d tangled with Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) and posed as an ISA agent.
Dimitri formally introduced himself on Monday’s Days episode and refused to get in touch with Kate’s loved ones since he wasn’t ready to reveal his demands yet.
Although Dimitri wanted to dance with Kate to see how she measured up to her daughter, she threatened him with a knife.
Dimitri shrugged it off and sent Kate back out to keep chopping fish.
