Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 13, reveals that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) moped at home and made excuses for why he didn’t have breakfast for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) like he normally did.
Li also asked about Gabi’s Saxton meeting last night and trusted it left her feeling satisfied, but he secretly knew Gabi never went to a meeting at all.
Once Gabi left to get breakfast elsewhere, Li looked at the pic EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) had sent of Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) in bed together.
After Li threw his phone across the room, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) got updates on the whole situation and encouraged him to give up on Gabi for his own good.
Although Li didn’t know how to stop loving Gabi or quit hoping for reconciliation, Wendy didn’t think things were improving based on Gabi’s preferred bed.
At the DiMera mansion, Stefan emerged from the shower wearing a towel and realized Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) was naked under the covers.
Stefan had slept on a cot beside his usual bed and turned down Melinda’s request for him to get dirty with her.
Melinda accepted that Stefan only wanted Gabi, but she wondered how much longer she’d have to keep up this charade.
Stefan said it was just until EJ blinked and appreciated her help with all this.
Downstairs, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) brought home a box of Sweet Bits’ new biscuits and kissed EJ right as Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) appeared.
Johnny had barely slept because of all the noise coming from Stefan’s room and was grossed out to learn Melinda had been in there with him.
EJ explained that it was all a ruse on Stefan’s part, but Johnny seemed over all the DiMera brother drama and left to get coffee.
Afterward on Thursday’s Days episode, Nicole raved over the biscuit she tried.
Stefan and Melinda also had some biscuits as they continued to pretend they were an item, but EJ finally called them out on the fake romance.
EJ told Stefan about catching him in bed with Gabi and sending photographic evidence to Li, so that news caught Stefan off guard.
In the town square on Thursday’s DOOL show, Gabi met Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) and found out she was Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) sister.
Talia learned Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was Gabi’s brother, so they acknowledged that their siblings belonged together and became matchmaking allies.
After Gabi gushed over Talia’s biscuit recipe, she got Stefan’s phone call.
Stefan revealed that EJ had busted them in bed and sent proof to Li, so Gabi realized that was why he was acting off earlier.
Gabi assumed the shares were off the table now, so Stefan thought the bright side was that they didn’t have to pretend anymore.
Once Gabi told Stefan to go pack and give Melinda her walking papers, she vowed to deal with Li on her own.
When Gabi went home, Li had something he wanted to talk about.
Gabi assumed she knew what it was, but she began to hallucinate due to the biscuit since the dough was secretly drugged the night before.
That led to Gabi imagining Stefan was there with her instead of Li.
Likewise, Stefan found Melinda in his room and hallucinated that she was Gabi, so he began undressing and pounced on her.
Back in the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) got Johnny to try a biscuit and gave him a pep talk since he thought Wendy was about to dump him for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
After Johnny and Chanel reminisced about their marriage in Italy, things got flirty.
Johnny remembered how beautiful Chanel had looked in her red dress back when he proposed.
Once Johnny hallucinated that Chanel was wearing that red dress again, he dropped to one knee and asked Chanel to marry him.
Chanel had also eaten a biscuit, so she seemed rather giddy over the new marriage offer.
When Wendy popped up nearby, she was shocked at the marriage proposal playing out in front of her.
At Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) place, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) brought home a box from Sweet Bits and offered breakfast.
Sloan flipped out over Eric supporting Chanel’s business considering her history with Chanel and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
Eric insisted he was trying to help Sloan ease up on her revenge mission.
Sloan realized Eric thought she was the one terrorizing Chanel and Paulina, so she kicked him out of her apartment for not trusting her.
Outside the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, Nicole took a phone call and looked up as Eric approached her.
The drug effects kicked in as Nicole hallucinated Eric coming around the corner in his priest collar.
