Days of Our Lives Recap: Thursday, March 23 – Harris Collapses After Shock Therapy – Bo’s File Unlocks Memories

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 23, reveals that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) was pleased over Skippy the lab rat responding well to the fountain-of-youth serum. Now Dr. Rolf suggested they should see how humans did with his new formula.

On Thursday’s Days episode, Dr. Rolf commented on Kate Roberts Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) death and saw that Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) had put Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as well as Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) back to sleep.

When Megan appeared, she was distraught over Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) going rogue and refusing to obey her orders.

Megan blamed Dr. Rolf, but he warned that he could merely mold minds – not change who people were at their core.

In another lab area, Bo recalled Kate insisting he was a rebel who didn’t take orders. Once Bo remembered the gunshot, he snapped back to reality and rummaged around until he found his own file.

That led to Bo reading facts about the life he left behind and facing a memory flood.

Bo had flashbacks of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), who was the true love of his life according to that file.

However, Dr. Rolf’s notes also indicated that part of Bo craved danger and excitement.

Since Bo had a wild side like Megan, there was a chance he might welcome Megan with open arms under the right circumstances.

Megan warned Dr. Rolf that she couldn’t lose Bo and felt he needed a tune-up.

While Dr. Rolf resumed working on the serum, Megan found another drug and approached Bo with a syringe behind her back.

At an ISA facility in Maryland, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) was frustrated over not being able to remember anything about when Megan programmed him.

Hope offered reassurance before Dr. Frankel joined them as a psychiatric consult.

Since the changes to Harris’ brain chemistry were so deeply embedded, Dr. Frankel warned that traditional methods may not be enough to retrieve his memories.

After Dr. Frankel suggested ECT, Hope seemed worried about Harris going through shock therapy.

Harris insisted he couldn’t live this way and wanted to do it today, so he signed the consent form in a hurry.

Once the shock treatment began, Hope pushed Dr. Frankel to dial down the voltage since she was hurting Harris.

Nevertheless, Harris said he could take it and wanted to keep going.

After more shocks, Harris finally recalled some details like the electrodes on his head and Dr. Rolf’s involvement.

Harris also remembered someone being in a tube-like container, but he couldn’t see who was inside since it was all foggy.

There was a nautical map on the wall too, so Harris wrote the coordinates down for Hope.

At the pub on Thursday’s Days episode, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) gave Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) advice about living in the moment with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and not getting caught up in the what-ifs.

After Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) interrupted with updates on Megan, Chad admitted he only wanted to meet his long-lost sister once she was behind bars.

Once Chad left, Abe expressed concern over Steve’s mission taking over his life, but Steve confessed that it was the only thing getting him out of bed in the morning.

Hope eventually called with a new lead on Megan’s location based on the coordinates Harris offered.

After Hope vowed to text Steve the details, he planned to get on a plane with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and met her there.

Hope told Harris that she had to go, but he suddenly collapsed right in front of her.

That led to Hope crouching down and repeatedly calling out Harris’ name as she tries to wake up him.

At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) office on Thursday’s Days episode, Stephanie pointed out no one actually broke in since the door was locked.

Even so, Paulina felt certain that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) was responsible for trashing the place.

Stephanie didn’t really think a move like this fit Sloan’s MO, but Paulina said maybe Sloan was trying to find dirt she could use against her.

Although Paulina wanted to find Sloan and wring her scrawny neck, Stephanie felt they should call the police instead.

Paulina didn’t want a big scandal to erupt again, so Stephanie came up with a plan to handle this discreetly.

Next on Thursday’s DOOL show, Chad came along and saw the damage before Stephanie once again hinted about handling this with discretion.

Once Stephanie called Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), he arrived and got confirmation that nothing appeared to be missing.

Shawn also saw no sign of forced entry, so he wondered if somebody could’ve gotten ahold of Paulina’s spare key.

After Shawn said he’d get the forensic unit in there to dust for prints, Paulina insisted she already knew Sloan was guilty and called for her arrest.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina and Sloan’s battle will come with some curveballs, so that could lead to bad news for both of them!
