Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there could be more to the story when it comes to Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) beloved son. It’s obvious that Megan and Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) have an over-the-top bond that’s meant to be weird.
However, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) initially had her doubts that Dimitri was even Megan’s child at all!
When Megan first mentioned Dimitri, Kristen pointed out that she’d never heard about Megan having a son.
Megan argued that Kristen hadn’t heard about her being alive either, which was a fair point.
Even so, Days spoilers hint there might be something more to Kristen’s suspicions in this case.
Megan was quite adamant that Dimitri was her flesh and blood – maybe a little TOO adamant!
The more Megan goes on and on about Dimitri being her son, the less we’re convinced he actually is.
Even if Megan did give birth to Dimitri, that doesn’t mean she’s necessarily his biological mother.
Megan could’ve been a surrogate who somehow passed herself off as Dimitri’s real mom instead.
Of course, we can’t help but think about the time Kristen stole Theresa Donovan’s (Jen Lilley) embryo and gave birth to “Christopher DiMera,” who was actually Tate Black (last played by Colin and Kyle Schroeder).
Could Megan have stolen an embryo too with a little help from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton)?
Days spoilers say it’s a possibility to consider since this whole situation feels a bit strange.
Many DOOL fans have been complaining on social media because the DiMera clan honestly doesn’t need another family member.
There are more than enough DiMeras to battle over the throne, so what’s the purpose of Dimitri really?
It’s possible Dimitri’s DiMera status will be ripped away down the road.
Dimitri is quite eager to bond with his new relatives, but he may end up disappointed if Megan has misled him and they aren’t his relatives after all.
That could open the door to some new Days storylines involving Dimitri’s actual family.
It would be interesting to find out who Dimitri’s bio mom is and why Megan might’ve stolen him.
It’s worth mentioning that Megan tried to have a woman killed and schemed to steal her child back in the 1980s.
The goal was to pass the boy off as Megan’s son and raise him with Bo Brady (Peter Reckell).
That plot ultimately failed, but it proves Megan has been behind shady plans involving children that aren’t her own before.
Bottom line, Dimitri may not truly be Megan’s son – and if that’s the case, he’s not a real DiMera heir either!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say some huge news could rock Dimitri’s world if the story keeps heading in this direction, so stay tuned for updates on what’s cooking.
