Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) may be a little too confident about fighting back against Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty). DOOL fans know Paulina wasn’t concerned when Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) presented the legal papers and warned her mom about Sloan’s latest revenge plot.
Sloan wasn’t able to send Chanel and Paulina to prison, so she’s doing the next best thing and trying to drain out Paulina’s bank account.
Paulina wasn’t pleased over Sloan upsetting Chanel again, but she assured her daughter there was no need to worry.
Since Paulina’s used to enemies filing lawsuits and threatening her like this, she doesn’t think it’s a big deal.
Paulina argued that her lawyers would make mincemeat out of Sloan, but something tells us she might be wrong about that!
After all, it wouldn’t be much of a storyline if Paulina beat the civil suit and that was that.
Paulina stands a very good chance of losing despite her best efforts to neutralize Sloan as a threat.
Days spoilers say Paulina will even hire Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to apparently do more PR work for her.
Paulina may try to boost her own image while slamming Sloan in the public eye.
It’s all about spinning this to make Paulina and Chanel look sympathetic, but that plan may not work out as well as Paulina’s hoping.
Sloan is a top-notch attorney herself and knows what she’s doing here.
The most interesting outcome would be for Paulina to lose pretty much everything.
Paulina is used to throwing money at all her problems and having plenty of cash in times of crisis, so Days needs to explore what happens when that all goes away.
What if Sloan succeeds at her goal and actually bleeds Paulina dry? Will Paulina go broke over this lawsuit and have to make some updates to her life?
We have no doubt that Paulina would come roaring back with a new way to make money, so she might make lemonade out of lemons.
If Paulina ends up losing her riches, it could lead to her next venture and a new Days story of how she wins them back.
Whatever the case, Paulina is underestimating Sloan – and that can’t be good news since Sloan is perhaps due for a victory this time around.
