Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that marriage has become a tricky issue in Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) relationship. It hasn’t been that long since Chad lost Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), so he’s just not ready to take the plunge and marry someone else.
Although Stephanie assured Chad that she was fine waiting, it’s clear that she’s much more into the idea of marriage than he is.

After Chad turns down Stephanie’s offer to visit the cemetery with him on Abigail’s birthday, things will feel off.
Chad will seem distant and will basically recoil from Stephanie’s touch, so they’ll have a tense conversation as their romantic woes get worse.
However, Days spoilers hint that Chad might find some strength during his visit to Abigail’s grave.
Perhaps Chad will recall how Abigail previously spoke to him in spirit form and pushed him to move on.
Whatever the case, Chad may apologize to Stephanie for acting weird and get some sympathy over what he’s going through.
Grief is a long and difficult process, so Stephanie should understand that.
Next, DOOL spoilers say Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will make a mess of things during the week of October 23-27.
That’s when Steve will back Chad into a corner and apply some pressure, so he may encourage Chad to pop the question.
If Steve pushes hard enough and makes Chad feel guilty for not locking in his future with Stephanie, maybe Chad will decide he’s right.
This could lead to Chad planning an elaborate marriage proposal and surprising Stephanie with it soon after.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers hint that Stephanie might refuse Chad’s proposal if she suspects it isn’t sincere! Stephanie may make sure there’s a delay on any engagement news.
It’s not like Stephanie wants to marry just for the sake of marrying.
This is about how much Stephanie loves Chad and wants to seal the deal on their future together.
It may become obvious to Stephanie that Chad is reacting to pressure from her parents as well as Stephanie herself.
Stephanie might turn down Chad’s marriage offer as a result and insist on waiting until he truly wants this.
