General Hospital Recap: Monday, April 10 – Spencer Wants Ace Returned Home - Sonny Calls Out Dex & Josslyn’s Secret

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, April 10, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) caught Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) sneaking around with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and asked why he was always finding them together.

Sonny ultimately admitted that he’d known about Joss and Dex’s relationship for months.

Although Sonny wasn’t interested in being the romance police, he was disappointed that Dex had kept secrets and didn’t like being lied to.

Josslyn confirmed that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knew before heading back to her dorm room, where she found Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) since she was hoping to talk to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Trina wasn’t back yet, but Josslyn suggested Portia could wait and wound up chatting with her a bit.

When Portia spotted the art book that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had given Trina, she acknowledged that the two of them were more than friends.

Based on Josslyn’s reaction, Portia could tell she wasn’t exactly thrilled. That said, Josslyn pointed out that Spencer would never knowingly hurt Trina.

Portia seemed worried about what Spencer might do unknowingly and took off since there was still no sign of her daughter.

Once Josslyn was alone, she texted Trina in hopes of tracking her down and seemed worried.

On The Haunted Star, Spencer flipped out as he realized Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was keeping him there against his will and planned to sail for parts unknown.

Victor acted like Spencer was being dramatic and insisted he was saving Spencer, not abducting him.

After Victor had one of his minions bring out Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), he assured Spencer that his whole family was there and acted like they had everything they needed.

Spencer tried to make a deal with Victor and agreed to stay if he’d let Ace go home, but Victor felt that Ace was already home there with them.

Nearby, Trina peeked around the corner and hid out as a surprise stowaway.

At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, she rushed to injured Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) side.

Esme regained consciousness and held her head since someone had knocked her out.

Once Esme started crying over Ace’s kidnapping, Laura assured her that they’d get her baby back.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up to investigate and learned Esme suspected Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was responsible.

After Esme let the paramedic take her to GH, Dante scored some security footage from the building and reviewed it with Laura.

Victor’s henchman, Ambrose (Charles Ambrose), could be seen stealing Ace on that footage, so Laura identified him to Dante.

Back with Dex, he assured Sonny that his relationship with Josslyn wouldn’t interfere with his work.

Sonny put Dex to work searching for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while Carly grilled Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about the magic act that had gone wrong.

Nina mentioned the trap door and confirmed that there was no sign of Liesl, so Carly worried since Obrecht was supposed to donate bone marrow for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in the morning.

Sonny spoke to Carly briefly about Dex’s involvement with Josslyn, but they had more important matters to discuss.

When Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) appeared, he made sure everyone was up to speed on Victor shooting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and revealed the growing danger.

Next, Dex found a charm in the trap door crawl space that had belonged to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so Nina was concerned since Liesl wouldn’t have been careless with it.

Carly and Drew decided Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) should know what was going on, so they headed to the Quartermaine gatehouse.

That’s where Michael was busy filling Willow on the end of the Nurses Ball since she’d fallen asleep.

Michael admitted that Liesl’s vanishing act seemed a little too realistic. Soon after, Drew and Carly arrived with bad news, so Willow looked uneasy.

As for Nina, she insisted they had to get Liesl back and told Sonny to do whatever he had to do.

Sonny wanted to make sure Nina knew what she was asking of him, so she confirmed that she did.

At the hospital, Jordan got updates from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) on the Ice Princess, which hadn’t been destroyed in the fire – just like Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) hadn’t really been injured.

Jordan found out Victor wanted the coordinates off that necklace and realized Laura was already in the loop on all this.

After Valentin got a pep talk from Felicia about Anna being a fighter, Charlotte Cassadine came rushing over from a friend’s house.

Valentin admitted Anna was in bad shape and that Victor was to blame, so Charlotte said she hated Victor.

However, Valentin didn’t want Charlotte to spend her life full of hate and made it clear that he planned to get rid of Victor one way or another.

Later, Valentin told Robert that he wanted Victor dead – and then he wanted to bury the body in a hole with his bare hands.

Jordan received a phone call about missing Ace, so she realized it was another Victor connection tonight and headed to Esme’s hospital room.

Esme was having a nightmare about the kidnapping when Jordan arrived, so Esme woke up and struggled to make sense of the whole ordeal.

General Hospital spoilers say Victor’s grand plans will lead to some other shockers and shakeups, so stay tuned.
