General Hospital Recap: Monday, February 27 – Heather Exits Threatening Laura – Liz Free After Ratting Out Nikolas

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, February 27, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) barged in Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office to see if she was sorry for keeping him in the dark on his daughter or if she enjoyed it.

Jordan argued that she told Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to come clean, but Portia kept telling her to butt out.

After Curtis asked how long Jordan knew Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be his child, Jordan admitted her first clue was two years ago when she was trapped in that leaky basement with Portia.

Jordan’s suspicions grew after all the genetic testing stuff came up, but Portia just told her to mind her own business.

Since Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) put it all together and confronted her, Jordan felt she had to confess what she knew.

Once Jordan suggested Curtis should be talking to Portia instead, he admitted he had and that he was still trying to pick up the pieces of his life.

Jordan also mentioned the possibility of a DNA test and thought Curtis should let Trina know she could count on him – no matter what happened.

In their dorm room, Trina was distracted as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) recapped the hook truth and the craziness of Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) parentage.

Once Trina confessed that Portia had lied to her, she revealed that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) might not be her biological father.

Josslyn learned what happened and learned Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had been there for Trina – including when they shared a kiss.

Later, Trina was alone when she heard a knock at the door and assumed it was Portia.

When Trina opened up, she was surprised to see Curtis standing there instead.

At the police station, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) spoke to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) over the phone and worried she was making a mistake by turning herself in.

When Liz asked Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) if her immunity deal could fall through, he admitted it could if she didn’t give them what they wanted.

Since Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) was acting as the ADA for this case, she began recording Elizabeth’s interrogation with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Liz admitted that Esme had been imprisoned by Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), who appeared to her on the pier after her run-in with Esme.

When Elizabeth confronted Nikolas, she found out he was holding Esme in captivity due to his baby and because she was believed to be the hook killer.

Liz said they only realized Esme wasn’t “The Hook” after Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) attack.

Although Elizabeth grew concerned for Esme’s safety, Esme escaped and wound up in the harbor before she could do anything.

Liz added that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) destroyed the evidence at Wyndemere and said she had no idea where Nikolas was now.

Once the interrogation was over, Elizabeth got confirmation on her immunity deal holding firm.

Afterward, Dante and Molly gave Jordan updates on Liz’s statement against Nikolas. With all his Cassadine resources, Dante felt that Nikolas could be anywhere.

In Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) room at GH, Ava Jerome (Maura West) argued that Nikolas wouldn’t be dead if it hadn’t been for all Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) manipulation.

After Finn dropped some hints about Elizabeth, Ava knew they were out of time and urged Austin to check himself out of the hospital so they could deal with Nik’s body.

Outside the nursery, Spencer blamed himself for driving Nikolas away and snapped at Laura Collins (Genie Francis) before apologizing.

Laura held Ryan responsible, but Spencer felt he was the one who opened the door for Esme.

Although Spencer turned into a blubbering mess over all his guilt, Laura thought it was best to learn from the past and focus on the baby boy that needed their help.

In Esme’s GH room, she angrily told Heather Webber (Alley Mills) this would be the last time she ever saw her – and Heather was certainly never meeting her grandson.

Heather wanted to get transferred back to Spring Ridge so that she could be a family with Esme and Ace Cassadine, but Esme shut down the idea.

Esme made it clear that Heather was dead to her and left her bio mom distraught.

As Heather was led away by officers, she insisted Esme was making a mistake and that she needed her mother.

When Heather saw Laura by the elevator, she blamed her for stealing her daughter and grandson before warning that Laura would pay.

Laura wondered how Heather planned to do that when she’d never see the light of day again, but Heather said she’d watch out if she were Laura.

“You haven’t seen the last of me yet! You’d better be careful, Laura!” Heather shouted just before the elevator doors closed.

Back in Esme’s room, Spencer told her that he’d take very good care of her baby along with Laura.

The news stunned Esme, who thought she’d get to keep Ace in prison.

Spencer argued that wouldn’t be happening, but he smugly insisted no expense would be spared and said that Ace would be in good hands.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer and Esme could have quite the battle brewing, so stay tuned.
