General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 10, reveals that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) continued to deny tipping off the SEC despite Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) punch. Drew didn’t believe Ned and acted like this was war before he stomped off.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) caught up with Drew to point out that since he helped Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and avenged Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), he got a pass from her.
Tracy also urged Drew to consider whether the SEC was really after a decorated Navy SEAL or the ex-wife of one of the most powerful mob bosses in the state of New York.
After Tracy hinted that they might be interested in dirt on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Drew asked if she was suggesting that he should turn against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to save himself.
Tracy was trying to look out for Drew as a family member, but he urged her to do herself a favor and avoid trying to help.
Back inside the Quartermaine mansion, Ned swore on his grandmother’s memory that he didn’t call the SEC.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) seemingly still didn’t believe Ned, but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) finally came around.
Next, Tracy spoke with Brook Lynn privately about the debt she owed and said there was something BLQ could do to even the account in her favor.
Although Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was battling a sinus infection, she was determined to move forward at the Home and Heart Channel since it took a lot to score a second chance there.
Maxie talked to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about launching a new skincare device called The Deceptor, but Felicia urged her to delegate for the sake of her company.
Since Maxie was all congested and kept sneezing as she tried to prepare her presentation, she decided to summon Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to help with this work emergency.
At GH, Sasha sought news from Carly about Willow as well as all the SEC drama.
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was busy nearby trying to reschedule their trip, which was nonrefundable and would cost more if they changed the dates.
Once Gladys gave Sasha updates on the situation, Sasha urged her to go ahead and upgrade again since she wasn’t worried about the cost.
Carly quizzed Sasha about her guardianship, which Sasha felt had gone smoothly with the exception of one disagreement.
Back with Gladys, she received a text invitation to Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) next poker game.
Selina pointed out that a seat opened up at the table tonight and informed Gladys there was a $5k buy-in.
After Maxie texted about the work crisis, Sasha and Gladys headed over to her apartment right away.
Since Maxie couldn’t do the presentation at Home and Heart as planned, she insisted Sasha was the only person she trusted to take her place.
Once Drew met up with Carly, he filled her in on his confrontation with Ned and thought it was weird that Ned continued to deny ratting them out.
Carly didn’t see who else stood to gain from alerting the SEC.
After Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) interrupted Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) kiss, Holly took off and gave Robert a chance to speak with Diane alone.
Robert opened up about his history with Holly, but Diane thought he was clearly still figuring things out and warned not to call her until he knew for sure what he wanted.
When Holly met up with Felicia at the PCPD, she admitted she came back to Port Charles because of her unfinished history with Robert.
Felicia wondered if Robert felt the same way since he was sort of seeing Diane, but Holly didn’t seem to view her as real competition.
On the flight back from Greenland, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) held Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and thought back to hearing Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) voice inside his head on the ship.
Spencer credited Trina with helping him know he had to jump to avoid the explosion – and then he heard her voice again guiding him in the water.
Once Spencer talked about his desire to protect Ace, he insisted he would be his little brother’s guardian.
Nearby, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) felt like a 40-year weight on her soul had been lifted now that The Haunted Star – her last like to Luke and the Cassadines – had exploded.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was glad he was able to help with the rescue, especially since he was personally invested due to Trina’s role in all this.
Laura was curious about where things stood, but Curtis didn’t want to pressure Trina when it came to the DNA test.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Curtis admitted that the wound of her deception was still fresh, so it was easier said than done to let go of the anger.
After Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) met up with Portia at the hospital, she insisted Trina wasn’t out of danger as long as Spencer was in her life.
Portia thought Trina would listen to Taggert, but he didn’t want their daughter to pull away from him, too.
Although Taggert disapproved of Trina’s involvement with Spencer, he didn’t think they could tell Trina what to do and warned that it wasn’t the time to push her.
Portia worried that her relationship with Trina was damaged beyond repair, but Trina ran into her arms once she arrived at GH with the others.
Taggert, Portia and Trina shared a group hug while Curtis stayed back looking like an outsider.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will keep trying to make progress with Trina, so stay tuned to see their next steps.
