General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the show has a great opportunity to introduce a new character. Now that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) has had some time to settle in at Stanford, there’s a chance he jumped into a new relationship to heal his broken heart.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) certainly had no problem moving on with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), so maybe Cameron decided he should move on quickly, too. Perhaps Cam met some lucky lady on campus and hit it off with her.
Since we know William Lipton is set to make a comeback as Cameron this summer, we have to consider where his storyline might go from here.
It’d be great if Cameron came home with some mystery girlfriend that fans could ultimately get to know.
If Josslyn doesn’t like Cam’s new love, that’d be even better! Josslyn might find herself being critical and even a bit jealous.
There’s no doubt that Josslyn wants Dex now, but that doesn’t mean her feelings about Cam’s next relationship won’t be complicated.
GH fans could still see some jealousy on Joss’ part along with fears that this new girl might be as bad as Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) when she first came to town.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) came home with a nightmare girlfriend, so Josslyn may worry about the same thing happening with Cameron if she doesn’t like his woman of choice.
However, it might turn out to be a situation where Josslyn simply struggles to accept the change.
Cameron doesn’t like Dex, but a big part of that involves the fact that Dex stole Josslyn away from him.
Josslyn may dislike Cam’s new love as well and ultimately come to realize she’s just having a hard time letting go.
Whatever the case, Cameron will return to Port Charles once he wraps things up at Stanford for the semester, so maybe he could bring a new girlfriend home to meet everyone.
