General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have a lot of complex emotions to work through now that all the SEC drama is blowing up. Carly certainly wasn’t expecting this business crisis to derail Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding day, but that’s exactly what happened.
Of course, now the countdown is on when it comes to Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) involvement being exposed.
Nina hopes no one ever has to know that she tipped off the SEC through Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), but it’s just a matter of time until that secret’s exposed.
In the meantime, GH spoilers say Carly will settle on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) as her top suspect.
Ned previously threatened to expose Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading, so it’s easy to see why he’ll fall under suspicion now.
At the same time, Ned may point out that he’s on better terms with Michael now and that he even performed a song at their wedding.
Since Ned had no real reason to throw a grenade and cause so much family chaos, he’ll rush to his own defense.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will make a team effort during the week of May 1-5, so they may do their part to prove Ned’s innocence or at least back him up.
However, things may not be quite as they seem since Tracy has a personal agenda and will ultimately force Brook Lynn to help her by collecting on the debt she owes.
There’s a chance that Tracy made a call of her own to the SEC long before Nina ever made her vengeful move.
If so, that could become a secret that Brook Lynn is forced to keep.
Regardless, Ned’s going to land in hot water when he didn’t do anything wrong.
Since Carly won’t have a clue that Nina’s responsible, her mind will immediately go to Ned – especially since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will insist he didn’t tell another soul about Carly’s illegal activity.
