General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) transformation could leave her parents fearful. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) want Esme to be just as diabolical as they are, but this amnesia mess could be a game-changer.
As Ava Jerome (Maura West) pointed out, it’s wise to take everything Esme says with a grain of salt.
Esme has proven she lies as easily as she breathes, so no one would be surprised if she was lying about her memory issues, too.
However, it’s equally possible Esme genuinely has amnesia after her traumatic turret jump and ordeal in the harbor.
This could be part of a redemption strategy or at least a way to make her a bit more sympathetic as this GH story moves forward.
Even Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is starting to wonder if amnesia could transform Esme into a better person – though Trina knows better than to trust her ever again.
Nevertheless, Esme is supposedly confused and terrified right now, so she’s a far cry from the strong, devious daughter that Ryan and Heather want.
Ryan may be especially disappointed over the idea of Esme turning over a new leaf and no longer being his sinister partner.
Could this lead to Ryan and Heather going to extremes to jog Esme’s memory?
There’ll be some twisted family drama coming up involving Heather, Ryan and Esme, so maybe Mom and Dad will take matters into their own hands!
Ryan wished Heather would’ve let them be a family when Esme was a baby.
Heather didn’t think they were cut out to be parents at the time, but Ryan later complained since he thought they could’ve tried.
Ryan and Heather are now working toward their second chance family, so that could involve a joint escape and a scheme to restore Esme to her sinister glory.
Once Heather and Ryan get updates on Esme’s amnesia news, it could force their next change of plans.
