General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some baby drama must be brewing. There’s no way the show will allow two deliveries to go off without a hitch – especially not during February sweeps!
Willow currently plans to have a C-section and bring her baby girl into the world a few weeks early.
That’ll allow doctors to use the umbilical cord and placenta to harvest stem cells, so this is good news for Willow and could lead to the life-saving transplant she needs.
Of course, the baby will be a preemie and should need some extra time at the hospital.
That could leave this child vulnerable for a GH kidnapping plot – and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) makes the most sense as the kidnapper.
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) also has a bun in the oven, so her own baby’s birth will be coming up soon.
There may be a stressful situation at Spring Ridge that sends Esme into early labor – potentially with disastrous results.
What happens if Esme’s baby doesn’t make it? Heather is completely obsessed with having a grandchild and surely won’t just let the idea go.
Whether Esme’s willing to run off with her bio mom or not, Heather might want herself a do-over baby.
It’s easy to imagine Heather stealing a replacement and deciding to raise it on her own if need be.
Heather may simply snatch Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) daughter once she’s out of options.
It may seem like the best one available to Heather if she’s officially ready to go on the run and start a new life for herself.
After all, there’s no drama if Michael and Willow just bring a healthy baby home from the hospital without any problems.
That’s not the kind of content that fans have come to expect during this pivotal February sweeps period.
Maybe Heather will land at GH for another follow-up appointment or fake medical crisis.
It might be Heather’s way of staying close to Esme when her delivery’s going on.
If Esme’s baby doesn’t survive and Esme herself shuts down the idea of escaping with her birth mother, Heather could grab Willow’s baby and bolt!
It might be the only way to salvage Heather’s plan for a family.
