General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will seemingly be sporting a new look in the not-too-distant future. In an Instagram story, Storms unveiled a shocking hair color change and admitted her daughter was amused by it.
“Thanks to Melanie @salonnuuvo for matching the picture I brought in to the perfect hair color,” Storms said. “I. Love. It. (Harper is clearly amused)”
Just a few days ago, Storms posted a photo from the “hair chair” at the studio, where she was clearly still playing a very blonde Maxie.
Assuming Storms keeps this new look for filming at GH, that means Maxie will be going brunette for a while!
That might take some getting used to, but Kirsten Storms looks as fabulous as ever. It should be fun to see Maxie sporting this hairstyle on screen eventually.
Something tells us Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will love it if the show’s still going with a Maxie and Spinelli reunion.
The show hasn’t had much development for these exes lately, but pushing Spinelli and Maxie back together still seems to be the plan.
Regardless, Storms has decided to change things up – and that presumably means Maxie will decide to change things up, too.
It’s easy to imagine everyone at Deception gushing over Maxie’s brunette locks.
Until then, Maxie will get caught up in Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) drama.
Lucy just escaped from the safe house where she’s been hiding from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), so she’ll have some explaining to do when she ambushes Maxie and reveals she’s alive.
Maxie will deal with Lucy’s Nurses Ball problems and try to process this whole situation.
We’ll see Maxie tackle a stressful crisis, but she may shake it off down the road and seek a fresh start with her new hairdo!
