General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, February 2, teases that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will catch Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) with the legal document Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) delivered and presumably warn her not to sign a thing.
It looks like Heather will sound the alarm when it comes to Nikolas and insist he only wants to take Esme’s baby away.
Heather will do her best to protect Esme, but her next scheme could come with some complications.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will drag Nikolas into a private room at GH and lash out over his decision to contract Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby).
Nikolas went way too far in his efforts to keep Esme’s memories buried, so Liz will blow up at him and decide it’s time to start making decisions for herself.
Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will fill Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in on a suggestion Liz made, which might be about some special gift or gesture for Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) farewell.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will have a Britt tribute in the works as well, but it seems he’ll need a favor from Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to make it all come together.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may get updates on Brad’s goal if they cross paths with Brad at Kelly’s.
Whatever the case, Maxie will hope to learn something positive after all the sadness lately.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will remain grateful that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) survived, but she’ll take a moment to grieve Britt and vow never to forget her.
Britt will ultimately have a touching memorial service in the chapel, where Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will speak to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) alone about his future.
Spencer will be determined to steal baby custody away from Nikolas – especially now that he’s seen the incriminating video.
Since Spencer will be so set on protecting his little brother or sister, he’ll be prepared to make a bold move and spread some huge news.
Look for Spencer to announce his plans within the next episode or two, so Nikolas may reel over his son’s custody pursuit and secret blackmail threat.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) should stay in the dark on the confession video for the time being.
We’ll see Jordan put another situation to rest – and later, she could potentially catch Liesl off guard with her memorial presence.
With Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) standing right beside her, Obrecht will question someone mysterious about what they’re doing there.
That could be Jordan if she wants to defend her decision to attend the service and assure Liesl that the cops are doing everything they can to find the killer.
Of course, it’s also possible Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will come clean to Liesl about Britt saving her life.
Obrecht already knows Britt helped spare someone from “The Hook” that night, but maybe Josslyn will confess it was her and apologize for Liesl’s loss.
Back with Elizabeth, she’ll corner Finn and admit something that throws him for a loop.
Liz may confess her affair charade and phony pregnancy before telling Finn the whole truth about Esme’s time in captivity.
Laura will also resort to begging when it comes to Nikolas, so she’ll get stuck in more family issues – especially once Spencer launches the custody battle that’s brewing.
