General Hospital Spoilers: Wiley is Willow’s Best Bet At Living To See Another Day

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is in dire straits. A routine C-section turned sour when Willow coded after the baby’s delivery and left the doctors fighting to save her life. Now, as everyone waits for Willow to wake up and move forward, her medical team is prepping the stem cells in the lab from her daughter that they intend to use to treat Willow’s leukemia.

Unfortunately, the stem cells in Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) daughter’s umbilical cord and placenta won’t be usable after all, and this is going to leave Michael and Willow’s doctors panicking in hopes of finding another option before Willow wakes up — or doesn’t.

General Hospital Spoilers — Baby Girl Corinthos Can’t Help

When Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) alerts Michael that the lab has found an abnormality with the stem cells in the baby’s placenta and umbilical cord which have rendered them unusable for treating Willow’s cancer, Michael will be despondent.

All of this effort and the forced premature birth of their child will seem as though it was for nothing.

Michael won’t be able to stop kicking himself for encouraging Willow to consent to the procedure, and he won’t be able to stop thinking she might be conscious right now had he not.

GH Spoilers Hint Willow Isn’t Present

Yes, Willow has not woken up from her C-section yet. This is highly abnormal as most women who have one are not sedated to begin with.

Willow lost consciousness during the surgery only after the baby was delivered, and her doctors are struggling to make sense of what went wrong.

It didn’t appear that she lost too much blood or faced any complications from the surgery. Rather, it may have just been too taxing on her body while she’s fighting to stay alive.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Family Scrambles to Find Another Donor

As Michael and his family panic, the medical team will do all they can to track down another donor.

It will come as a shock when they suggest testing other family members of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros), but Nina will immediately note that she can only offer up her aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), given that her cousin Britt Westbroune (Kelly Thiebaud) just died, and her mother Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) passed a five years ago.

However, Terry might suggest there is another relative who is being overlooked — Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). He isn’t just Willow’s adoptive son; he’s her biological nephew, and he might be the answer to saving her life, but how will Michael feel about putting him through that — and would Willow agree if she could?
