General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, February 27, teases that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will continue to battle terrible guilt. Now that Spencer knows about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) sending Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) to seduce him and blow up Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) marriage, he holds himself responsible for the damage that was done.
Spencer will rant about letting Ryan use him like a weapon, but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) won’t think it’s her grandson’s fault.
Ryan fooled nearly everyone into thinking he had locked-in syndrome, so Spencer couldn’t have known he’d be such a threat.
When Laura insists Spencer’s not to blame, he’ll raise his voice and fire back that of course he’s to blame!
Spencer will have a fierce outburst, so he may end up apologizing to Laura since she’s just trying to help.
Ryan and Esme are the ones Spencer will really be angry with, but that’ll bring some frustration.
It’s not like Spencer can confront a dead man – and Esme’s memory loss means she can’t even remember her own crimes.
Spencer should want Esme to pay anyway and may resolve to use the custody case as part of that plan.
Laura will encourage Spencer to calm down and put some thought into his actions, especially since an innocent baby is involved.
Since Laura’s hoping Esme will have an opportunity to be a mother, she’ll try to get Spencer to see things her way.
In the meantime, Esme will initially give Heather Webber (Alley Mills) the silent treatment.
Heather arranged a GH visit in exchange for her confession, so she’ll hope Esme will say hello to her mother.
However, Esme may declare that Heather is NOT her mom – at least not in any meaningful way beyond giving birth to her.
After Esme rejects Heather and denies access to her grandson, Heather will hit the roof and may accuse her daughter of being ungrateful.
At the police station, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will have an opinion on something.
We’ll hear Molly offer some professional advice, so this may tie in with Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) attempt to sell out Nikolas to save herself.
Molly will also get updates on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) starting a search right away, so police officers may be crawling all over Spoon Island again soon.
If Nikolas’ corpse is still in the stables, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have some explaining to do.
As for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), he’ll stay positive when it comes to the deal that he’s struck for Elizabeth.
Although Liz will fret over this deal falling apart, Scott will fight hard to make sure she gets her freedom out of this.
At the art gallery, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will confide in Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), so they’ll talk about Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) paternity deception and all the latest Spencer developments.
Trina might admit to making out with Spencer earlier, which was a bright spot in an otherwise horrible night.
Spencer’s comfort made all the difference, so Trina will gush over him during her conversation with Josslyn.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will pressure Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for information and ask how long she’s been sitting on this potential bio dad shocker.
Portia blurted out a paternity hint back when Ava was stuck and facing a near-death experience with Jordan.
It took some time for Jordan to gather enough info to back up her suspicions, but she eventually did.
Of course, none of that really matters since Portia was the one who owed Curtis the truth.
Portia should’ve listened to Jordan’s advice and confessed months ago.
After Jordan rushes to her own defense, she’ll push Curtis in the direction of bonding with Trina.
It won’t be long until Curtis reaches out to Trina for a heartfelt conversation.
