General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 25, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will stand her ground and express her willingness to fight for what she wants. Nina will act like the consequences are worth the risk as Ava Jerome (Maura West) expresses doubts about her plan.
However, Nina is desperate to preserve her future with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as well as the shot she might have at building one with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
If there’s a way for Nina to salvage all this and keep the SEC truth under wraps, she’ll want to take advantage of it.
Nina will apparently be willing to go up against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and anyone else if she can keep her dream of a happy family alive.
At Carly’s place, she’ll have some advice for Sonny, who came over to fill her in on his decision to marry Nina.
Carly may confess to being at the Metro Court during Sonny and Nina’s engagement celebration since she’s already in the loop.
Although Carly doesn’t approve of Sonny’s relationship with Nina and never will, she’ll understand that she can’t tell him what to do.
Nevertheless, Carly will give Sonny some food for thought and may express concern over how this engagement news will affect his chances of truly reconciling with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Sonny is on the right track with Michael thanks to Willow, but Carly may fear this union could make Michael’s wife rethink her stance at some point.
As for Carly and her legal defense in the SEC case, she may repeat what she told Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) about her willingness to accept her punishment if need be.
Carly doesn’t want to turn against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or even Sonny, so she’s sticking to the truth and hoping for the best.
Sonny might promise to do everything in his power to make sure Carly avoids jail time for Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) sake.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), there’ll be more tension since they just aren’t on the same page.
Kristina is excited about the shelter she plans to open for LGBTQ youth, but Sam just sees another project that her flaky sister probably won’t follow through on.
Although Kristina will wish Sam could just stop worrying for once, Sam may argue that’s not possible since worrying is what big sisters do best.
Perhaps Sam will try to help Kristina understand that her concerns are coming from a place of love.
Kristina might find a path to peace with Sam, but she’ll undoubtedly remain hurt over the lack of confidence.
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will lean on Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) as he tries to cope with Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) endometriosis and her reaction to not being able to conceive.
TJ’s been doing his best to be a supportive domestic partner, but he feels like he’s handling this wrong and doesn’t know how to make Molly let him in.
Even if TJ doesn’t spill the whole story, Stella may urge TJ to trust Molly when she says she needs time to process.
Molly obviously loves TJ with all her heart, so Stella may tell him to remember that and just be patient with her.
At GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will catch Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) off guard and leave her thinking he wants a divorce.
It looks like Curtis will want the opposite instead and agree to give their marriage a real shot.
Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will confide in Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who’ll likely get updates on Jordan locking lips with Curtis and almost sleeping with him.
The kiss was as far as it went, but Jordan would be lying if she said she didn’t want another chance with her ex.
That said, Jordan took the right approach by encouraging Curtis to figure out where things stood with Portia first.
Anna may praise Jordan for that, but the commissioner will still feel bad for stealing a smooch and wishing she could steal Curtis back, too!
General Hospital spoilers say Jordan will face a tough blow once Curtis and Portia try to get back on track, but new love could be coming up down the road.
