General Hospital Update: Wednesday, March 29 – Willow’s Stubborn Mission – Liesl’s Urgent Documents – Milo Giambetti Returns

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 29, teases that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will still be in shock over the info she received from the state trooper. It seems Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) was involved in a deadly accident on the road, so Liz will mourn along with so many others.

Since Elizabeth wasn’t able to speak with Epiphany one last time, she’ll feel an even deeper sense of loss.

Liz will wish she could’ve explained her side of the story and made sure Epiphany wasn’t ashamed of her for holding Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) hostage.

Of course, Epiphany was known for giving out tough love, but she was also very forgiving of the people she cared about.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will urge Elizabeth to remember the good times and know that Epiphany would’ve wiped the slate clean.

There’s even a chance Epiphany will give Liz updates herself – at least in a way.

Perhaps Epiphany wrote a recommendation letter to the ethics committee before she died and just never had an opportunity to send it.

In that case, Elizabeth may read Epiphany’s heartfelt words about what a wonderful nurse she is and how valuable she is to the hospital.

Epiphany was a real asset to GH as well, so Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will mention that to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as they express their grief outside.

Meanwhile, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will battle guilt over pressuring Epiphany to apply to med school since she got killed while pursuing her options.

Although Marshall will think he’s to blame for Epiphany’s death, he never could’ve known what would happen.

Epiphany could’ve just as easily been killed in Port Charles since life is unpredictable and fragile.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will comfort Marshall, so that should touch Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) heart and soften him a bit toward his wife.

Next, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will have a special delivery for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who’ll receive some time-sensitive documents that need to be filled out right away.

While Diane explains the situation to Liesl, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will explain her presence at the hospital.

GH fans know Willow is quite ill since she’s still waiting on her transplant, but she’ll insist on attending Epiphany’s memorial service anyway.

Willow will be a little stubborn here, but sometimes that could be a good quality. Epiphany certainly had a stubborn streak and stood up for what she believed in, so Willow will take a page out of her playbook.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will lean on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as he tackles this unexpected loss.

Epiphany’s demise will leave Sonny clinging to the people who matter most to him, especially Nina.

Since this episode will be a special tribute to Epiphany as well as Sonya Eddy, there’ll be plenty of familiar faces from the hospital on hand – including Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel).

Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood) will also return to grieve for Epiphany and reflect on their old love story.

Since Yvette Nicole Brown was a close pal of Eddy’s offscreen, she’ll pop up for a guest appearance and play a key role in the memorial service.

Fortunately, there’ll be good news in the midst of this tragedy.

The show will still find a way to incorporate Epiphany into the Nurses Ball posthumously, so it’s nice to know her memory will live on.

General Hospital spoilers say Epiphany’s death will be a difficult blow just like the death of her portrayer, but the show will give Sonya Eddy an excellent sendoff.
