In tonight’s I am Jazz episode, Greg got home from work. He hadn’t known about what happened with Jazz or that she was crying. He had to be told about it by his wife Jeanette. She told him everything that happened. She told him about Jazz’s anxiety flaring up.

Jazz felt she should be doing more with her life and how was disappointed with herself because she still feels like a kid. Jeanette tried to help her with that stress as much as she could. But she didn’t think the time was right for Jazz to go on a date. She thought the date would just add undue pressure. She thought Jazz should take the time to focus on herself and get herself right before she tackles something so big as dating much less dating apps.

Jazz however felt the date came at the right time. It got her out of her head. She couldn’t wait to get back out there. She was so happy that she thought she should get her body ready and she went for a waxing session at the beauty salon. Jazz went with her friend Jaclyn. Jazz had her first bikini wax.

Jazz has only had her vagina for four years. She got it right before the pandemic and then the pandemic interfered with how she could show it off. Now, Jazz wants to put herself back out there. She wants to be seen as an adult. She was actually afraid that her anxiety attack sent her back with her mom because Jeanette was a helicopter parent. And she didn’t need a reason to circle around Jazz.

It’s probably going to be worse now that Jeanette saw the anxiety attack. Never mind that Jazz hasn’t been telling her about people posting transphobic messages to her on those dating apps. Jazz still thought she told her mother too much because now Jeanette was interfering in her life.

She turned Jazz’s date into a double date with Sander and co. Jeanette thought she was helping because guys on dating apps could be dangerous. They could be looking for someone to rob or beat up or worse. It was clear someone was watching too many lifetime movies. She was worried about her daughter and so she asked Sander to look after his baby sister.

Jazz felt she look like a kid by asking her brother to come. But her mother had been right when she said it was dangerous out there. Jazz’s friend Jaclyn was basically running out of a job because she was working with a bunch of transphobic and homophobic girls. They were saying such horrible things about her. One of which was that they didn’t want to use the same bathroom as her because she couldn’t be trusted. So, Jaclyn went to her boss to complain. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and so Jaclyn had to walk away from the job to escape a hostile work environment.

Jazz later went shopping with her mom and Jaclyn. Jaclyn mentioned that she couldn’t really start a new job because she was getting surgery and so she thought about modeling for some risqué photos. Jaclyn was just trying to pay some bills. She knew that those photos weren’t for everyone. Only she has support from her people. Jazz supported her in what she wanted to do. Jeanette didn’t even try to talk her out of it. She told Jaclyn to go for it if she was comfortable with it. And so Jazz wondered why Jeanette couldn’t be so open about her.

Jeanette disagreed with most of the things Jazz wanted to do. Jazz going away for college was an issue. Her being on dating apps was an issue. Jazz later asked her mom why she could see Jaclyn as an adult and not her. The only answer, Jeanette could give her was that Jazz was her baby. Jeanette does see that she babies Jazz. She said she does it because Jazz can’t do things for herself. Jazz was currently wearing a pair of sandals that looked worn down. They needed to be replaced. It was Jeanette’s duty to replace them.

Jeanette notices when the shoe is falling apart. She goes out and buys another one for Jazz because Jazz couldn’t be trusted to do it for herself. Jazz would wait until they literally fell apart on her foot because she thinks about buying a new pair of shoes. While she was waiting on the new pair of shoes, she would have no shoes she could use. But that’s Jazz for you. The only reason she went shopping with her mother and Jaclyn was because she needed cowboy boots. She was going line dancing with her date.

Jazz soon went on that date with a nice guy. His name is Dayron. Dayron loves to dance and he thought learning line dancing would be fun and easy. Dayron arranged for a class about it before the bar opens up to other guests. The class was going fine until Dayron thought Jazz was nervous and Jazz felt very put on the spot. But they started dancing together. They were laughing together. It was good. It was so good that Dayron asked her if he could kiss her and she was a little freaked about that.

Meanwhile Jeanette was visiting a psychic to see what she could do to be there for her daughter.

THE END!
