The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 14, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) promised he’d never let Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) near them ever again and told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he’d get more security.
Finn also vowed never to have any more contact with Sheila and said he’d do whatever it took to bring their family home.
Although Finn repeatedly begged Steffy to move back in with the kids, she couldn’t shake the images of Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) almost drowning and Finn hugging Sheila.
Steffy felt that Sheila was going to be in Finn’s life forever, so she couldn’t do what he was asking her to do.
Finn cried as Steffy insisted that although she loved him so much, she couldn’t put their children in that dangerous environment.
Once Finn returned to the lonely cliff house, he flashed back to Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s (Alexander and Chase Banks) birth and remembered another happy moment when he danced with Steffy.
Meanwhile, Steffy recalled reuniting with Finn in Monaco and tried to shake off the memory of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) kiss in Rome.
At Spencer Publications on Monday’s B&B episode, Liam gazed at an Eye on Fashion magazine with Steffy on the cover. That led to Liam’s flashbacks of special family time with Steffy and Kelly.
Once Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) arrived, Liam gave him updates on Finn’s visit and warning to steer clear of Steffy.
Although Liam loved Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and what they created together, he confessed that the biggest mistake of his life was walking away from Steffy.
Liam had more flashbacks later, so he remembered telling Steffy that he wouldn’t make that mistake again if he had a do-over and recalled the Italy kiss.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reflected on both of their daughters dealing with marriage turmoil.
Ridge admitted Finn thought Liam was to blame for undermining his relationship, so Brooke assumed that was because Liam showed Steffy the video.
However, Ridge said there was more since Finn thought Liam was still in love with Steffy, which was true since Liam confessed to Ridge.
A stunned Brooke guessed Hope was right all along, but Ridge offered support and felt they could help their kids get through this together.
After Ridge said he was grateful to have his Logan back, he recalled looking through the keyhole in Rome and seeing his future.
There was more destiny talk as Brooke and Ridge shared a passionate kiss.
