The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 28, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) struggled to wrap her head around Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) not forgiving Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
In the design office, Hope confirmed that Liam was still in the dark on her sleeping with Thomas and admitted she was angry with herself for her mistakes.
Although Hope didn’t think she deserved support, Brooke assured Hope of her unconditional love and felt that the rest of the family would be there for her, too.
That said, Brooke warned Hope not to go back to Thomas! Hope defended Thomas since he didn’t do anything wrong and added that he even stepped aside because of her feelings for Liam.
Thomas did that out of love according to Hope, but Brooke urged her daughter to remember the pain of the past.
In Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) gave Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) updates on the fight he had earlier with her grandad.
Talk eventually turned to Thomas since Ridge wanted to know what was going on between his son and Hope. Steffy felt that the best thing was for Hope and Liam to find their way back to each other, but she wasn’t sure that would happen.
When Brooke entered on Monday’s B&B episode, she admitted that Liam refused to reconcile with Hope. That news left Brooke worried about Hope being vulnerable.
At Spencer Publications, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) showed up and pushed Liam to forgive Hope for kissing him in front of the Colosseum. Liam made it clear that Thomas was the last person who should be pleading Hope’s case.
Thomas understood that, but he also knew Hope had forgiven Liam for a lot of his own blunders – including a pregnancy scare with another woman.
Liam was adamant that Hope knew the one thing he couldn’t forgive and went there with Thomas anyway. Although Liam loved Hope, he couldn’t offer forgiveness.
Thomas called Liam a fool for pushing a wonderful woman like Hope away when she wanted to repair their family.
Liam kept urging Thomas to leave, so Thomas finally agreed – though he warned that Liam would regret this as he exited.
Back in the design office, Thomas found Hope and revealed that he went to see Liam, who made it clear that he was unwilling to forgive what happened between them.
That didn’t make sense to Thomas, who confirmed that he’d never tell Liam about their time in bed together. Thomas said that was a wonderful experience that was just for them and that Liam didn’t get to be part of it.
After Thomas reflected on his Rome make-out session with Hope, he said it lit a fire inside him. Now all Thomas wanted to do was create with Hope, love her and make love to her.
Thomas insisted this was their time and insisted they shouldn’t throw it away before he pulled Hope into a passionate kiss.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric was frustrated over his hand cramping up as he tried to sketch. Once RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) arrived, Eric filled him in on Ridge thinking he should retire instead of working on a new collection.
RJ loved the idea of Eric’s new designs and thought Ridge’s suggestion was insane. Eric insisted this collection was going to be a big deal – the biggest collection he’d ever done.
After Eric reiterated that he was doing this, he added that RJ was going to help him.
Eric explained that although he previously asked for Ridge’s help, he didn’t tell him the reason why – and he didn’t want RJ telling Ridge either.
That led to Eric confessing that he had arthritis and couldn’t hold a pencil very long. Eric said he wanted RJ to help him and asked if he’d do that.
