The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 22, reveals that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) showed off a gown that he’d designed. Petra (Alexis Gaube) modeled the look as Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) made plans for some adjustments.
When Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) arrived with news, she revealed that she’d ordered lunch from Il Giardino and was having it delivered.
Taylor kept dropping hints that didn’t make sense to Hope, so Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) seemed a little embarrassed.
After Taylor said a very handsome waiter hit on Hope’s mom, Brooke downplayed it as mild flirting.
Zende took that as his cue to leave and walked out as Hope quizzed Taylor about the mystery man who’d been sweet-talking Brooke.
Once Brooke said Taylor was just trying to play matchmaker, Taylor suggested maybe she was living vicariously a bit.
After Taylor pointed out that Brooke was single, Hope mentioned that Taylor wasn’t dating anyone either.
Hope had to ask if Taylor was purposely trying to stay single until Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) came back, which Taylor thought was a fair question.
However, Taylor assured Hope that wasn’t who she was anymore.
Brooke knew their friendship was shocking, but she insisted it was real and acted like Taylor perhaps understood her better than anyone.
Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that there was a special order for Forrester Creations – and they specifically asked for Hollis to deliver it.
Deacon got updates on Hollis flirting with Brooke and making a connection with her.
Although Deacon was taken aback, he understood why Hollis was attracted to Brooke since she was a beautiful woman.
Hollis hoped that meant Deacon wouldn’t have a problem with him asking Brooke out. Deacon said he was Hollis’ boss, not his life coach.
When it came to Deacon’s own feelings for Brooke, he felt he was smart enough to know that ship had sailed.
Hollis remembered the hot redhead who’d been giving Deacon the eye and asked if she was the new mystery woman in his life.
Deacon kept trying to hurry Hollis off to Forrester Creations, so Hollis thought he was trying to avoid the subject of the redhead.
Hollis had a feeling Deacon had been shacking up with somebody, but Deacon said it was just him by his lonesome.
As Deacon rushed Hollis off, he offered some advice since Brooke would always be about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Hollis argued that things change and didn’t think Deacon should underestimate him.
Back at Forrester Creations, Brooke answered the door when Hollis showed up. Hollis brought the food in and admitted he was happy to see Brooke’s name on the ticket.
After Hollis said he heard Brooke asked for him specifically, Brooke confessed that her nosy, supportive friend actually placed the order.
Nevertheless, Hollis mentioned that he’d been thinking about Brooke and would like to see her again – preferably when he wasn’t working.
Once Hollis asked if Brooke would have dinner with him tonight, Brooke said that’d be nice and agreed.
Hollis said he’d be in touch with the details and bid Brooke farewell, so Hope and Taylor seemed impressed.
Brooke called Taylor out for setting her up, but Taylor grinned and refused to apologize since Brooke now had a date with a hot younger man tonight.
The possibilities were endless according to Taylor!
At Il Giardino again, Deacon flashed back to romantic moments with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and looked deep in thought.
Over at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) place, he could tell something was bothering Sheila as her thoughts kept drifting to Deacon.
Despite Sheila’s attempts to pretend everything was fine, Bill was relentless and wanted her to feel comfortable opening up to him.
Sheila finally admitted there was someone else – someone that she’d tried so hard not to think about and someone that she missed terribly.
Bill glared at Sheila while he waited for an explanation.
