The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Wednesday, January 18 – Finn Stops Li from Testifying – Sheila’s Forrester Revenge

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, January 18, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) admitted he was getting outraged messages from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), but he assured Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) there was no need for damage control.

Bill said he made it clear to his sons that he wasn’t available to be yelled at. It had been a long day, so Bill wanted to end it alone with Sheila and complimented her beauty.

As they shared a toast, Sheila talked about being misfits who finally found their place and said “the hell with” what everyone else thought.

Sheila admitted this was quite possibly the happiest she’d been in her life, so Bill joked that his work there was done.

However, Sheila purred that Bill was just getting started.

Bill wondered what was next now that Sheila had a new life out of prison, so she hinted about getting back at the Forresters before deciding she wouldn’t dwell on revenge – at least not tonight.

After Sheila said she wasn’t sure how to avoid prison until Bill came along like a true miracle, she gave him a kiss and cozied up to him on the sofa.

Bill acknowledged that he was in no position to judge since he’d gone to extremes himself – like when he threw Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) out of a helicopter and blew Spectra Fashions up with Liam as well as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) inside.

Sheila talked about understanding Bill’s pain like no one else because she’d suffered from the same abandonment issues.

Bill flashed back to Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) rejection and said that was the one thing he couldn’t take: people walking out on him.

Sheila assured Bill that he’d never have to worry about that with her. As Bill and Sheila kissed passionately, she began undoing the buttons of his shirt.

After making love in front of the fireplace, Sheila said she was so glad she followed Bill on the beach that night and reiterated that he was like her own personal miracle.

Since Bill was awfully quiet, Sheila told him he could talk and that she wouldn’t use his vulnerabilities against him. “You can’t hurt me, Bill,” Sheila insisted.

Bill opened up about how he’d struggled with feeling empty inside and reflected on love slipping away or getting pushed away.

For so many years, Bill tried to fit in with the Forresters and the Logans, but he never could and was a different breed.

After Bill said he’d never do that again, Sheila assured Bill that he wouldn’t have to and admired the man that he was.

Sheila touched Bill’s sword necklace and talked about what it symbolized before reminding him of her love.

Bill insisted Sheila was what he needed and said he loved her, too.

Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) rushed home from a medical conference and showed up to see John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) along with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at the cliff house.

Li wondered if it was true that Sheila was released from prison, so Finn and Steffy filled her in on Bill being in a relationship with Sheila.

Although Li was appalled over Bill getting involved with “that monster,” she still didn’t understand why the judge let Sheila walk.

Finn said they couldn’t get into the particulars, but he revealed that Bill blackmailed them into not pressing charges against Sheila.

Once Li learned Bill bought the judge and made it so Sheila avoided charges for the escape, she continued to fume.

Li finally argued that there was nothing stopping her and vowed to testify against Sheila herself.

Finn warned that Li couldn’t do that since Bill included her in the blackmail threat.

Li learned Bill threatened to expose what she did to smuggle Finn out of the hospital.

Finn acknowledged that Li broke laws, but he refused to let saving his life come back on his mom like that.

Steffy insisted Bill meant what he said, so going up against him wasn’t worth the risk. Li seethed as she wondered how Sheila always managed to get away with every single thing.

Nevertheless, Steffy declared that Sheila’s win was temporary before adding that no one threatened her family and got away with it.

After Steffy said they’d figure something out, she warned that Sheila and Bill were going down!

At Forrester Creations, Katie told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that nothing she said had any impact on Bill since he was totally under Sheila’s spell.

There were moments where Katie saw glimpses of the old Bill, but he was obviously going through something and behaving recklessly.

Katie worried about what would happen when Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George) got updates on Bill and Sheila since he knew how dangerous she was.

As Katie thought back to confronting Bill, she noted that he just stood there next to Sheila and eventually told her to leave.

Carter was surprised over the news that Bill kicked Katie out, but he reiterated his promise to be there for her as well as Will.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie and Carter’s love will keep blooming for now, so stay tuned.
