The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoiler recap for Wednesday, June 21, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) felt bad for waiting until the last second to invite Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). This could be one of the biggest milestones of Hope’s career, so it felt wrong that her husband wasn’t there to celebrate with her.
While Hope opened up to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and tried texting Liam, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) spoke with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Carter admitted he was surprised that Liam wasn’t there to support Hope.
On the Spencer jet, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) admitted they’d get to Rome a little later than planned, but they would indeed get there.
Liam couldn’t get any cell service, so Bill said the Wi-Fi was down since he was making some updates to the system.
However, Liam thought it was just as well since he didn’t want anyone to know he was flying to Rome and spoil the surprise.
Bill admitted he hadn’t made the progress he was hoping for with Katie Logan (Heather Tom), but he suggested Liam could bring Hope to the Stella Maris when the fashion preview was over.
Liam was grateful and thought Hope would love the idea of a little getaway together.
In the meantime, Liam hoped to make it by the photoshoot and smiled over how surprised Hope would be to see him.
Bill assured Liam that a car would be waiting for him as soon as they landed.
Liam felt foolish for how he’d handled things before, but he really felt this would be a new beginning with Hope.
At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) talked to Zende Forrester-Dominguez (Delon de Metz), Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) about the big event in Italy.
Since Brooke would be modeling along with Hope, Paris and the others thought the press would eat that up.
Eric seemed certain that Rome was having an impact on Brooke and Ridge’s relationship as well.
Later, Thomas met up with Hope ahead of the showcase, so he told her to just go out there and shine.
Thomas also urged Hope to be herself and earned a sweet look from her before the photoshoot began.
Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Hope and Brooke modeled gorgeous gowns as reporters snapped pics in front of the fountain.
Once it was time for the press conference, Carter introduced Hope before she made a speech about how welcoming everyone had been in Italy.
Hope expressed pride in the new collection and what it stood for before asking Thomas to join her on stage.
After Hope praised Thomas as her brilliant lead designer and the creative force behind her line, they accepted questions.
One reporter asked if Thomas and Hope would stand together for a photo, so they happily agreed.
When Hope and Thomas were asked to look at each other for the pic, they did as they were told.
Brooke and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) scowled nearby since they disapproved of how close the pair were getting.
