The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) desire to protect Katie Logan (Heather Tom) could put his own life at risk. Katie has made a fierce enemy out of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and has no intention of backing down, so that could lead to big issues.
From the moment Carter and Katie became romantically interested in each other, there’s been a common theme.
Carter has been established as Katie’s devoted protector – and she always feels safe in his arms.
When Carter found Sheila threatening Katie recently, he jumped into action and shut her down right away.
Carter understands that Sheila can spiral out of control and do horrible things, so he’s understandably wary of her being around Katie.
However, Sheila considers Katie a major threat to her future with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
If Katie gets in the way of Sheila and Bill’s newfound bliss, Sheila has promised there’ll be consequences – and we believe her!
Of course, Sheila also acts like what happened in the alley behind Il Giardino was an accident.
It’s true that Sheila didn’t mean to shoot John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), but she certainly meant to shoot Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) before she left them both bleeding out.
Sheila acts like that whole night was a mistake that won’t be repeated, but she could be very wrong about that.
Could B&B be gearing up for a similar situation involving Carter and Katie?
When Finn realized Steffy could die at Sheila’s hands, he immediately jumped in front of her and took the bullet himself.
Finn has always been Steffy’s fierce protector just like Carter is stepping up to protect Katie.
Carter might take heroic action as well if Sheila pulls a gun on Katie next.
Then again, Sheila might settle on some other murder weapon, but the point is Katie could end up backed into a dangerous corner.
Will Carter get injured saving Katie from Sheila?
A B&B scenario like that might prove Sheila’s never going to change and will always cause the same bloody outcomes.
Plus, it could move Katie and Carter’s romance along if she realizes he was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for her.
Carter and Katie might make some updates to their relationship status even faster – at least once Carter survives his brush with death.
