The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is happy that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is back. His return to Forrester Creations only happened because she endorsed it.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) put Hope in a fashionable box.
The co-Chief Executive Officer of Forrester Creations, acting without the known approval of her co-CEO and father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), told the head of Hope for the Future to approve Thomas’ rehire, or the line would shut down.
That was no choice. It was a false premise that Hope did not call out. Instead, she hired Thomas.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Did Not Approach Ex-Wife
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could have been written into a scene where he confronted his ex-wife, Steffy. But, as viewers saw, that did not happen.
Why would Liam have chosen not to tell Steffy the obvious?
She was bowing to family pressure, meaning Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and pretending that no other options existed.
Liam is always ready to offer a counterproposal. He knew, like the viewers, that a plethora of other designers are available across the globe.
Yet, Steffy pretended like Thomas was the only person on earth who could revive HFTF.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Can Not Truthfully Deny Attraction
While lacking insight regarding a worldwide pool of potential hires, Steffy demonstrated shrewd insight in another area.
She identified Hope’s pattern of giving Thomas unlimited benefits of the doubt.
Why would Hope forgive Thomas on so many occasions? Liam knows his wife has allowed Thomas to get inside her head and manipulate emotions.
But Clifton’s character does not appear to believe Hope will reciprocate Thomas’ long-standing romantic feelings.
Hope was briefly married to Thomas but never consummated the marriage. She even resisted his attempts to kiss her.
So, there is no logical reason for Liam to also believe Hope would make the first move.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester On His Best Behavior
Daytime drama includes needed twists. Rather than having another storyline that involves Hope being pursued by Thomas, why not create a switch?
Recent scenes between Noelle and Wood have Hope going to great lengths to reinforce that she is not romantically interested in Thomas.
Then, Thomas and Hope discussed the issue with Atkinson’s character restating that he is focused on his job.
It is not hard to assume Hope and Liam are at odds because of Thomas’ comeback and Noelle’s character eventually making a move.
An error in judgment, where Hope pursues Thomas, would be good soap on B&B.
