The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) shooter mystery may not be solved just yet. B&B fans know Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was originally convinced he shot Bill, but it was later determined that his concussion messed with his head.
Since Liam’s memories were supposedly false, that led to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) being revealed as the one who pulled the trigger.
However, Taylor keeps talking about her maternal rage taking over and how she wasn’t in her right mind. What if Taylor’s brain scrambled things, too?
Perhaps Taylor simply wanted to shoot Bill at the time, so her mind filled in the gaps. Taylor may have convinced herself that she’s responsible – or she could even be covering for Liam depending on how the writers want to take this.
Regardless, the door’s open for a rewrite that would change everything. Bill may eventually lose his leverage if it comes out that Taylor didn’t shoot him after all.
Of course, that leads to the question of who pumped a bullet in Bill’s back instead. Could it have been Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears)?
Justin snapped back in 2021 when he plotted to keep Bill in prison and run the Spencer empire himself.
Viewers will recall that Justin went as far as kidnapping Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and locking him in a cage to keep exonerating evidence from coming to light.
What if Justin actually snapped far sooner than that? Could Justin have been the one who shot Bill back in 2018?
Justin might’ve decided he was fed up with taking orders and having no real success of his own.
Maybe Justin lost it with similar motives of taking Bill out of the picture, skyrocketing to power at Spencer Publications and making sure Bill never reclaimed the throne.
Justin might’ve covered up the whole thing and buried his real feelings until snapping all over again years later.
Considering Justin’s behavior during the Thomas captivity saga, he had a lot of built-up resentment that could’ve driven him to extremes earlier than that.
Whatever the case, Justin is now focused on a positive path at Forrester Creations and would certainly want to keep any 2018 trigger-pulling under wraps.
It could destroy the new life Justin has created if the truth comes out, so the stakes could be high!
