The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) behavior lately has been drawing some criticism on social media. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has become determined to win Steffy back, but Steffy doesn’t seem to be doing enough to protect her marriage.
Of course, Steffy is saying all the right things when it comes to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and how she won’t leave him for anyone, including Liam.
That’s all perfectly fine, but Steffy’s actions aren’t lining up with her words.
Steffy shouldn’t be giggling at Liam talking about needing a cold shower or cracking a smile when he says they’ll find their way back to each other.
Liam clearly can’t take no for an answer, so Steffy needs to establish more boundaries.
B&B is taking Liam in a creepy direction, so someone needs to shut him down hard – and it has to be Steffy.
There’s no one else Liam will listen to, so Steffy needs to take a harsher stance and make it clear that there’ll be consequences if Liam doesn’t stop pursuing her.
Liam thinks he knows what Steffy wants better than she does and is completely ignoring her wishes.
That’s not something Steffy should be willing to tolerate, particularly when Finn has expressed concern about Liam’s efforts to sabotage their marriage.
Liam obviously shouldn’t be fighting so hard for a married woman, but Steffy seems to be giving him just enough hope to keep him hanging on.
Since Steffy is being soft and almost sweet about her rejection, it’s not a real rejection in Liam’s mind.
Naturally, that could change as this storyline moves along. Liam might cross the line in some way that Steffy can’t ignore, so maybe she’ll be forced to truly shut him down sooner or later.
It’s also possible B&B writers want Steffy to seem like she’s leaving the door open to “Steam” just a tiny crack. It could be a hint about the trouble ahead if Steffy can’t resist Liam’s advances.
Whatever the case, the writing for Steffy has definitely been getting some complaints from fans, so it’ll be interesting to see if things get better or worse!
