The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, January 5, tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will continue to act smug in lockup. B&B fans know Sheila plans to win permanent freedom thanks to her newfound connection to powerful Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Since Sheila isn’t worried about a lengthy prison sentence, she’s been laughing her head off during Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) visit.
It’s clear that both women are taunting each other, but Sheila will try some intimidation tactics soon enough.
However, Li won’t understand why Sheila’s so optimistic and may think it only proves how delusional she is.
Although Li will assume John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and his family never have to see Sheila again, she’ll insist Li shouldn’t bet on that.
In fact, Sheila will argue that she’s going to have a spot in Finn and Hayes Finnegan’s (Vienna and Iliana Norris) lives VERY soon.
Li won’t think there’s any chance of that happening, but hearing Sheila make such a disturbing Hayes and Finn promise could still leave her unnerved.
Of course, this could point to the next phase of Bill’s blackmail plot.
Once Bill gets Sheila her freedom, he may blackmail Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for proper Grandma time with Hayes, too.
Nevertheless, there’ll be a moment of doubt for Bill when Katie Logan (Heather Tom) visits to thank him for turning Sheila in.
Katie will talk about how impressed she is and make Bill wonder if he should forget about all this Sheila insanity.
Part of Bill may hope there’s a chance for a reunion with Katie after all, but she may once again insist a romantic reunion isn’t in their future.
Bill is lonely and needs someone who’ll stand by him, so he’ll remain tempted to trust in this twisted Sheila love story.
That’s bad news for anyone Sheila could still hurt!
Even so, Katie’s praise will at least force Bill to press pause on his scheme and consider making some updates to it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Katie may eventually sense that Bill’s holding back, so stay tuned to see what’s in store.
