The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, January 31 Recap – Deacon Stuck on Loving Sheila - Katie Attacks Taylor

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 31, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) was horrified over Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) being Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) shooter and struggled to even believe it. Taylor admitted she could hardly believe it herself, but she confirmed it was true.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) didn’t think they should discuss this right now, but Katie demanded answers.

Taylor didn’t know what happened that night, but she reflected on how Sheila had a darkness inside her that she couldn’t control.

Although not everybody was like that, Taylor thought they all had a contrast of light and dark inside.

Once Taylor said she let the rage take over and wipe out any logical thought, she reiterated that she couldn’t understand what happened.

Katie said she needed to know exactly what went down and ranted about how Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George) could’ve lost his father forever.

As Katie’s anger grew stronger, she asked what possessed Taylor to pick up a gun and shoot Bill.

Taylor admitted she thought Bill had done something unforgivable, so she went to confront him with no intention of killing him.

However, Taylor ultimately saw the gun, picked it up, walked toward Bill and pulled the trigger.

As Taylor’s emotions overwhelmed her, Steffy ran to her mom’s side and pulled her into a comforting embrace.

Katie was glad to at least know the whole story, but she had a hard time processing Taylor’s updates and was clearly angry with her.

This still didn’t explain how Sheila was able to get inside Bill’s head and turn him against everyone he loves.

Steffy thought the most important thing was figuring out a way to get Sheila out of their lives and stop her once and for all.

At Bill’s mansion on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Sheila thought back to Bill asking Katie if she’d take him back if Sheila went to prison.

Once Sheila pointed out that Bill seemed distracted, she urged him to put whatever Katie said out of his mind.

After Bill admitted to thinking about the past and what could’ve been, Sheila reminded him that he never fit into the Logan and Forrester world.

Once Sheila talked about all Bill’s disappointment and abandonment, she suggested the worst part was that Taylor shot him in cold blood.

Bill noted that he’d never forget that night before Sheila pointed out that Taylor would have to live with what she’d done.

Sheila said it was chilling to think Bill could’ve died before they ever had a chance to find each other, but she assured him that they were meant to be.

After Sheila thought back to hearing the news of the shooting and later finding out it was Taylor, she insisted it helped her see herself in a new light.

Sheila argued that she wasn’t a monster and that she’d simply made mistakes like everyone else, so she praised Bill for understanding that.

At Il Giardino, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and congratulated Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) as the new owner.

Deacon asked Hope and Brooke to taste-test his pizza, so they offered a ton of criticism just to mess with him.

Once talk turned to Sheila being free to terrorize people again, Deacon seemed lost in thought.

Hope noticed the change, so Deacon acted like he was just out of the loop.

Brooke assumed Deacon wouldn’t be thinking about Sheila since he was so busy with the restaurant, so he looked a bit guilty over that comment.

After Deacon asked for Hope’s recommendations on a planner, he said he’d like to do a relaunch and get some good reviews for the restaurant.

The conversation shifted to Bill and the bad decisions he was making, so Hope said someone would have to be crazy to develop feelings for someone like Sheila.

While Deacon stood off to the side, he listened to Brooke talk about Sheila having zero redeeming qualities.

Brooke didn’t get how anyone could be in a relationship with Sheila, so Hope suggested maybe it was a midlife crisis or another one of Bill’s self-destructive periods.

As for Brooke, she considered the possibility that Bill had really lost his mind or that manipulation was happening on one side or the other.

When Brooke wondered how any man could be in love with Sheila, Deacon thought back to sharing a slow dance with her and once again looked guilty.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will continue to keep his past with Sheila under wraps, so stick with the CBS soap.
