The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, July 20, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will be taken aback by his own feelings when it comes to Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) stint in the slammer.
Despite all the horror Sheila has inflicted upon Finn’s family, she’s still his biological mother.
There was a time when Finn was excited to meet and get to know Sheila, so part of him may grieve the loss of not having a normal bio mom.
Of course, Finn still has a wonderful adoptive mother since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) loves him just as much as if she’d given birth to him.
Even so, Finn might admit he would’ve liked to have had a real connection with Sheila if she hadn’t been such a dangerous psychopath.
Perhaps Finn will talk about the kind of relationship he would’ve wanted if Sheila hadn’t screwed everything up.
It could leave Sheila feeling more determined than ever to get out of jail and make things right.
Other B&B spoilers say Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will mope over to Il Giardino, where he’ll have a surprising encounter with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and relay the news of his signed divorce papers.
Steffy may argue that Liam and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) are rushing into a major decision that they can’t take back, but Liam will probably point out that Hope had her attorney draw everything up.
Now that Hope’s no longer willing to fight for their future, Liam may think that really seals the deal on their marriage being over.
Since Hope thinks Liam’s love for Steffy has always been an issue, he may give Steffy updates on her point of view.
Liam will make a confession in Thursday’s B&B episode, so he might admit there’s some truth to Hope’s perspective.
Although Liam wasn’t willing to take responsibility for destroying their marriage, he may acknowledge that he’s never fully been able to shake Steffy.
Liam might suggest that Hope sensed that and isn’t entirely wrong about him still being drawn to his former flame.
Naturally, Liam may add that he respects the boundaries of Steffy’s relationship with Finn and isn’t trying to cause trouble.
We’ll probably see Liam apologize for the stolen kisses again, but he may confess that part of him does regret giving Steffy up.
Meanwhile, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will speak with Hope about the signed divorce papers as well.
That’ll be a big disappointment for Wyatt since he was hoping Liam and Hope could push through this Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) crisis.
Wyatt will have some questions for Hope about why she’d cross the line in Italy, so she’ll suggest this all goes back to Liam’s lingering Steffy obsession.
Once Hope felt the power of Thomas loving only her, it shifted something inside Hope and caused her to surrender to temptation.
As for Liam’s own kisses with Steffy, you can bet Wyatt will keep his mouth shut about those!
Wyatt will reflect on his history with Hope and how he coped with losing her to Liam.
Somehow the fact that Liam was going to be happy with Hope made that loss more bearable, so he’ll be bummed to see them split.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will do her best to keep moving forward, but there’ll be some challenges along the way.
