The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 1, indicates that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will bring Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) home to the cliff house, where he’ll presumably check her lungs like he promised her.
Kelly just went through quite a scare at the beach, where she struggled against the waves until Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) dove in and pulled her back to shore.
It looks like Kelly will need to rest after all that drama, so her daddy-daughter day with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may get put on hold.
Of course, Finn will eventually have to admit that he took his eyes off Kelly, which nearly led to disaster.
If Sheila hadn’t been there to race to Kelly’s rescue, that whole nightmare could’ve ended in tragedy.
B&B spoilers say Steffy will have a heated argument with Finn over his negligence and the fact that he let Sheila get so close.
Although Steffy will certainly be relieved that Kelly’s all right, she won’t approve of Sheila getting in the middle of this and will wish the entire incident could’ve been avoided.
However, Finn will feel the need to stick up for his bio mom and will assure Steffy that heroic Sheila saved Kelly from a grim fate.
Steffy should ultimately mention Finn’s hug with Sheila at the courthouse and confront him for letting his guard down.
This will be extremely troubling to Steffy after all the awful things Sheila’s done to them in recent years.
Steffy will issue a warning to Finn, so she may force him to cut Sheila out of his life – for real this time – or face consequences.
Those consequences could include losing the family Finn’s come to love so much.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will also grow increasingly disturbed by Sheila’s actions as he grills Liam on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
Liam will offer the latest updates from the cliff house and leave Wyatt feeling like his brother is right to take charge for his family’s sake.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he’ll reel when Sheila shares how she put her own life on the line to save Kelly.
Sheila will talk about Finn’s gratitude and mention that he even called her “Mom” in the aftermath.
Although Deacon will be impressed, he’ll still fear that Sheila’s still setting herself up for disappointment.
Sheila will be convinced that she’s on the road to having a real relationship with Finn, but Deacon may worry that Steffy will stand in her way.
