The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, May 26, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will admit to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) that she attended her own memorial service, so Summer will be upset over her mom watching all their suffering.
However, Phyllis will explain how she heard herself eulogized and how she hated seeing her kids in so much pain.
Summer will take some of the blame for making Phyllis feel abandoned and will insist they’re in this together, but Phyllis will realize she’s dragging her daughter into more trouble.
After Phyllis pushes Summer to focus on taking care of her family at home, she’ll think she should just stay away and watch her children from afar.
Summer will refuse to bail on Phyllis again, so she’ll make it clear that she’s going to give Phyllis support and whatever else she needs from now on.
Downstairs at the GCAC, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will try to stay positive after facing more rejections.
When Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) pop up, Chloe will lie about how busy they are with new clients.
Sally will scold Chloe once they’re alone since they won’t want Devon and Lily thinking they’re too busy for Chancellor-Winters if things change.
Chloe will once again urge Sally to accept Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) seed money, but she’ll decline because of the baby and Nick’s recent love confession. Besides, Sally will really want them to stand on their own.
After Sally decides they might be able to revitalize an old option, she’ll strategize with Chloe before they approach Devon and Lily in the jazz lounge.
That’s where Chloe and Sally will make a new pitch about all eyes being on Chancellor-Winters due to Omega Sphere.
Sally and Chloe will come up with a ton of new selling points as they ultimately convince Lily and Devon to strike an interior design deal.
Afterward, Lily will quiz Sally about the baby that’s on the way, but Sally will act like she’s not going to lose her focus.
Although Lily won’t want to scare Sally, she’ll point out that motherhood does force some life changes. Lily will think it’s all about finding the right balance and asking for help when needed.
At Crimson Lights, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will catch up with Nick and realize Summer hasn’t told him about the possibility of Phyllis being alive, so she’ll find that odd.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Christine will get updates from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), who’ll fill her in on the tear-stained memorial service program that’s currently being tested for DNA and fingerprints.
Christine will admit that attending her own memorial service is just the kind of outlandish thing Phyllis would do.
Since Chance called in some favors to put a rush on the DNA results, Christine will admit she owes him for all this.
As for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), she’ll receive a postcard from Colorado that talks about heaven being a little closer – and the handwriting will be the same as the previous card.
Sharon will freak out as she tells Nick this is just the latest instrument of torture.
Since Sharon met Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) in Denver and hit him over the head with a Champagne bottle, she’ll be convinced that he’s behind all this.
After mulling it over a bit further, Sharon will decide there’s no confirmation and will try to downplay her concerns as a knee-jerk reaction to old trauma.
Nick will trust Sharon’s first instinct on this and will think Sharon should trust it, too.
After Nick grabs Chance off the patio, Sharon will hint about a man who got arrested for some things he did to her along with other people.
Chance will find out that this man may be reaching out and will agree to look into this for Sharon if she’ll give him a name.
Back at the athletic club, an employee will hand over a keycard to Mr. Kirsten, who’ll smile and urge her to call him Cameron.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cameron has big revenge plans, so stay tuned for the horrible news this could lead to.
