The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 14, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will voice his disapproval to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) regarding his decision to take Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) case.
Victor will make it clear that Claire belongs behind bars since he’ll still believe she’s nuts like Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
Once Michael announces that he’s heading back to Oregon for Claire’s arraignment, Victor will insist he doesn’t wish him luck.
Meanwhile, Jordan will notice the cops put out an APB for her, so she’ll call the tip line and claim she saw the woman they were looking for.
Jordan will send the cops to her room number at the Southside Motel before grabbing her bag and taking off.
However, Jordan will leave behind her framed picture of Eve Howard (Margaret Mason), the Newman photo album, poison vials and a knife.
Later, Jordan will get a room at the GCAC, where she’ll admire her new blonde wig disguise in the mirror.
At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will quickly put the top back on the vodka bottle and conceal her flask as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) keeps calling out.
Once Victoria walks in, she’ll offer updates on Michael helping Claire and the DNA test that’s happening.
Victoria will explain why she has compassion for Claire, but Nikki will act like Claire could be an award-winning actress who’s taking advantage of Victoria’s emotions.
Even if Claire turns out to be Victoria’s daughter, Nikki will mention how much time has passed and basically seem worried that there’s no hope for Claire’s rehabilitation.
Nevertheless, Victoria will plan to post Claire’s bail and will add that Michael’s going to try to get her into a mental health facility in Genoa City.
Once Victor comes home, he’ll reveal that there’s been a Jordan sighting in town and warn Nikki that she should stay at the ranch.
Nikki will refuse to be kept prisoner again, but Victor will contend that he just wants to keep her safe.
After Nikki’s alone, she’ll guzzle more vodka, fill up her flask and put water in the vodka bottle to cover for herself.
In Oregon, Michael will meet with Claire ahead of her arraignment and vow to help her. The plan will be to request Claire’s immediate release so that she can enter a mental health diversion program.
There’ll just be one thing that Michael needs Claire to do first: plead guilty by reason of insanity.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will corner Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and push him not to give up on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) if he still loves her.
Chloe will play up how great Nick and Sally were together, but he’ll act like she’s always wanted Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Of course, Chloe will argue that Adam is manipulating Sally into thinking that, so she’ll pressure Nick to tell Sally that he still wants her.
At the athletic club, Adam and Sally will chat during their “non-date,” which Nick will get a glimpse of when he walks in.
Victor will catch up with Nick moments later and push him to let his romance with Sally go.
Nick will admit someone almost changed his mind, but now he’ll see that Sally seems to be right where she wants to be.
As for Sally and Adam, they’ll decide to have a real dinner date since this trial run went so well.
Next on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nick will join Victor at the Southside Motel room that the cops got tipped off to.
Victor will see the staged scene that Jordan left behind and insist this is obviously a setup.
At Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) penthouse, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will show up with a succulent as a housewarming gift, but Daniel won’t be around to accept it.
Phyllis will find Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) working on his new album instead, so she’ll invite him to take a break and join her for lunch.
At Society, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will express surprise over Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) news about leaving the GCPD.
It’ll be hard for Christine to imagine Chance joining the corporate world and leaving all the heroic action behind.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will notice Chance and Christine’s conversation from afar, so she’ll eventually walk over and express positivity over Chance’s decision.
When Phyllis and Danny enter laughing together, Christine will get uncomfortable and ask to speak with Danny outside.
Christine’s recent night with Danny meant something to her, so she’ll be confused over him showing up there with Phyllis now.
Danny will insist when it comes to Phyllis, they’re simply two old friends who are reconnecting.
Since Danny will believe Phyllis is truly trying to change, he’ll want to keep supporting her. That said, Danny will assure Christine that their night together was different and that it was about their future.
As Danny and Christine kiss, Phyllis and Summer will glare at them through the window.
