The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 8, reveals that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will distract herself with spring cleaning and baking, but she’ll get spooked along with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) shows up at the door.
Since Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) knows Faith is Sharon’s Achilles’ heel, she’ll send her daughter away until it’s safe.
Faith will hate the idea of leaving Sharon alone in the house, but she’ll finally relent.
In Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) suite, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will decide to give her updates on the whole Cameron story and the danger he poses now.
When Nick shows Sally a picture of Cameron, she’ll be shocked to see that it was the nice guy who helped her in the park.
Nick will make it clear that Cameron isn’t nice at all and will worry Cameron orchestrated that encounter.
However, Sally will think they crossed paths by chance and won’t see any way Cameron would know about her connection to Nick.
After Nick says they should keep it that way, he’ll take off to check on Sharon.
Downstairs at the GCAC bar, Nick will bump into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who’ll reveal that he bought a blood pressure monitor – just in case Sally needs it.
After Adam says his girl deserves the best, he’ll clarify that he’s talking about the baby.
Nick will ask Adam to watch out for Sally due to all the Cameron drama, so Adam will assure him that he will.
That said, Adam won’t appreciate Nick bringing this chaos to Sally’s door – and he’ll think it’s telling that Nick’s choosing to watch out for Sharon over Sally.
Nick will ask if Adam’s going to look out for Sally or not, so Adam will insist he told Nick that he would. Once Nick says they’re done here, he’ll take off in a huff.
After Nick rejoins Sharon at the cottage, he’ll let her know that Cameron is at the athletic club and will explain away his bruised knuckles.
Nick will also find out that Sharon is sending Faith away, so he’ll think that’s a good idea – just in case Cameron tries to press his luck.
When Adam delivers the blood pressure monitor to Sally’s suite, she’ll realize Nick asked him to look out for her.
Adam will note that if he’s working together with Nick, it must be for a special cause.
At the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will find Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) discussing their wedding plans, so they’ll mention wanting Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) to be their ring bearer.
After Kyle says Harrison was the ring bearer at his vow renewal, he’ll suggest doing the opposite of everything he did since he’ll feel like he cursed his marriage.
Jack and Diane will wonder why Kyle’s feeling this way, but he’ll dodge questions and claim he’s headed to the office.
Once Jack tells Diane they should stay out of it, they’ll discuss how Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) greatest fear is apparently that Diane will gain too much power at Jabot.
Diane will think Jack should go ahead and give her a promotion to level the playing field.
That way, they’ll show Ashley and Tucker that they want peace, but they’ll prove they’re ready for war!
In the park, Mariah will threaten to use kickboxing and pepper spray as someone approaches, but it’ll turn out to be Kyle.
After Kyle pushes Mariah to keep this news a secret, he’ll divulge the truth about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and how Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) deceived him.
Mariah will admit she’s never trusted Summer before ranting about her putting Phyllis above Kyle and Diane, who was falsely accused of murder.
Y&R spoilers say that’ll be reprehensible in Mariah’s eyes, so she’ll think Kyle needs a Summer intervention.
If Kyle is OK with all the lies and manipulation, Mariah will worry she might have to rethink being his friend since she’s got a kid to watch out for.
Kyle will point out that he doesn’t want all this mayhem around Harrison either, but he’ll insist that Summer is his mother.
After Mariah talks about their responsibility to protect their children, she’ll contend that Phyllis and Summer are dangerous now that they’ve proved what they’re capable of.
Kyle will wonder what he’s supposed to do, but Mariah will think he already knows and will show sympathy for him.
At Crimson Lights, Summer will meet with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and ask what it’ll take to call off the APB on Phyllis, but he’ll insist she needs to turn herself in and share her side of the story.
Summer will feel like Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) wants to humiliate Phyllis, who was forced to defend herself against Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Chance will keep insisting that Phyllis needs to come forward and reveal what happened herself since everything else is hearsay.
Once Summer meets up with Phyllis in her suite, she’ll admit everything is about to hit the fan.
Summer will explain why she had to come clean to Kyle, who’s furious and could reveal Phyllis’ location.
With that in mind, Summer will feel like they have to sneak Phyllis out and find her somewhere else to hide.
Phyllis will desperately want to give Summer her life back and will think she just needs to let Chance make the arrest.
That’s not what Summer will want, but she’ll seem touched over Phyllis’ willingness to do anything for her.
Back with Kyle, he’ll tell Chance that he knows where Phyllis is and will take him to the suite, but the place will be empty by the time they get there.
Kyle will assume Summer tipped Phyllis off and will assure Chance that if he finds Summer, he’ll Phyllis.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Summer’s marriage issues will get even worse soon, so stay tuned.
