The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 12-16 reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will step up for his family as drama breaks out from multiple angles. Following Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) arrest, Victor will no doubt make quick work of getting his son out on bail.
However, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will also land in a jam that requires her grandpa’s assistance.
There’s a chance Summer could be facing potential charges of her own since she hid Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and made herself complicit in her crimes.
Fortunately, Victor has deep pockets and a great deal of influence, so he may be able to wiggle Summer out of any legal backlash she might face.
Of course, that won’t fix Summer’s marriage, which she trashed by sacrificing Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mom to save her own.
Summer let Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) go through a nightmare when she was wrongfully accused of Phyllis’ murder.
The fact that Summer knew the truth for so long and didn’t come forward will remain difficult for Kyle to get past.
Even more marriage turmoil could be on the horizon once Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) makes Kyle her next target.
It looks like Audra may consider Kyle her new challenge, so her goal could soon become to get him to sleep with her.
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll reach a significant decision.
That could relate to Jack’s war with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and the promotion that’s in the works for Diane at Jabot.
Back with Victor, Y&R spoilers say he’ll continue doing everything in his power to make sure Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) lands back behind bars.
There’s a chance Summer could get tangled up in all that due to her connection to Nick, but Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) are already in extreme danger.
Sharon will face another emergency thanks to Cameron, so she’ll panic as the walls close in.
Cameron will make it clear that he’s not leaving until he gets what he wants, so Sharon will be terrified.
Nick can’t leave Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the dark on the Cameron news forever, so she should get updates on why he was arrested and determine that she had a creepy Cameron encounter without even realizing it.
Since Nick will have to make this Cameron situation his priority, there’ll be more opportunities for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to pitch in and pull Sally closer ahead of their baby’s birth.
In the meantime, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will presumably enjoy a night on the town, so we’ll see if the official date they planned is a success.
