The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, June 6 – Kyle Walks Out On ‘Diabolical’ Summer, Refuses to Forgive

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 6, teases that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will mention heading over to the tack house to see Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle), so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will warn her to be careful as she goes.

When Faith opens the door, she’ll scream over dead Borgnine the cat on the welcome mat. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will show up in the aftermath, but Chance won’t have any evidence that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) was behind this.

Sharon and Nick will insist that Cameron must be to blame – and once Chance gets confirmation that the cat was poisoned, they’ll be even more convinced this is a warning.

Chance will get updates on Cameron likely stealing a Newman security team member’s uniform, so he’ll be upset that he’s just now hearing about this.

After Chance leaves to investigate, Sharon will talk to Nick about the fact that the cat was inside the house the whole time.

When Nick realizes Cameron must’ve broken in, he’ll vow to find Cameron and put an end to this for good. Sharon will seem rattled as she locks the door behind Nick once he’s gone.

At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will approach the table Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) sharing with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Although there’ll be some button-pushing all around, Jack will insist nothing can get him down since Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is free and Jabot’s doing well.

However, Jack will privately discuss his concerns about Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) ASAP marriage to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) – and Billy will agree there’s a reason to worry since Ashley could get him seat on the board.

In the end, Billy will promise not to let Tucker hurt Ashley again and will vow to protect Jabot, too.

Nearby, Adam will talk to Victor about selling off McCall Unlimited’s music division along with other unprofitable areas.

Instead, Adam will want to focus on media and streaming, but Victor will warn that’d put him in direct competition with Newman Media and would be a declaration of war.

Although Victor will try to shut down Adam’s plan, Adam will insist he wants to take over Newman Media rather than obliterate it.

At the athletic club, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will ask Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to join her for a strategy session when he appears near her table.

After Audra offers to take the meeting somewhere more private, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will appear and whisk Nate upstairs for lovemaking.

That’ll lead to Nate making a business pitch during the afterglow – though he’ll worry about Nick thinking that he’s overstepping.

Victoria will assure Nate that she can handle Nick, so she’ll feel like there’s no need for concern.

Back downstairs with Audra, Tucker will needle her a bit about being on the outside of Victoria and Nate’s latest rendezvous.

Audra will argue that she has plenty of private meetings with Nate as well, but she’ll clarify that they’re about business and insist that’s how she likes it.

Tucker will seem a bit skeptical, but Audra will contend that getting in the way of Nate and Victoria’s budding romance would ruin her plans to take over Newman Media.

Once Tucker gloats about his engagement to Ashley and a golden opportunity that’s fallen into his lap, he’ll talk about the importance of keeping an open mind and being willing to risk everything.

Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Audra will interact with Victor at the GCAC bar.

After Audra complains about Tucker’s constant mind games, she’ll praise Nate’s amazing leadership as he comes downstairs with Victoria.

At the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will push Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to come clean about when she first saw Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Summer will keep lying that she only saw Phyllis in her suite just before Kyle did.

Kyle won’t buy that and will eventually push to see Summer’s phone, which will show texts from an unknown number.

After Kyle sees Summer’s responses, he’ll think it’s obvious that she’s been in touch with Phyllis.

Kyle will also think it sounds like Phyllis hadn’t seen Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) until last night, so he’ll realize Daniel lied to protect Summer since she saw Phyllis first.

Summer will finally admit Phyllis came to her because her mom knew she’d protect her.

That’ll leave Kyle fuming since Summer watched Diane suffer and let him suffer, too.

Summer will argue that by the time she processed the news that Phyllis was alive, Diane was already out on bail.

That won’t be good enough for Kyle, who’ll wonder if Summer ever would’ve said anything if Daniel hadn’t confessed.

Summer will assure Kyle that she was just trying to buy time for Phyllis so that both their moms could stay out of prison.

Although Summer will claim she wouldn’t have let it get as far as a trial and conviction, Kyle will feel like Summer sacrificed his mom to save her own.

As Summer cries, she’ll beg Kyle to forgive her and let her make this up to him, but he won’t see how that can happen.

At one point, Kyle will call what Summer did “diabolical” since she played the part of the grieving daughter and lied to his face repeatedly.

After Summer asks what Kyle’s going to do, she’ll plead with him not to divulge Phyllis’ location.

The fact that Summer is still trying to put Phyllis first will leave Kyle seething as he walks out the door.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer and Kyle’s marriage will be tough to salvage, so stay tuned to see how things play out.
