The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) and Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) recently had a joint interview with SOD, so that offered some great behind-the-scenes info on their characters and their hopes for the future.
For starters, Morrow and Hope had nothing but good things to say about working together.
It’s obvious that Hope and Morrow get along well, which is always nice when you’re involved in a major storyline with someone.
However, the part of the interview that was most intriguing came at the very end.
Morrow and Hope were asked what they’d like to see unfold for their characters, so let’s take a look at their surprising responses.
Courtney Hope admitted she liked the fact that Sally and Nick’s connection was deepening, so she hoped for more of that in their relationship.
“I would like them to find their way through the chaos and create a bond that’s unshakable,” Hope said.
Joshua Morrow took an even bolder stance on Nick and Sally as an endgame couple.
It’s clear that Morrow’s really rooting for Nick to be the winner in this love triangle with Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
“Eventually, I’d like their relationship to be just about the two of them and not Adam,” Morrow admitted.
Morrow went on to insist that he wanted Sally and Nick to “stay together” despite all the naysayers they’ve been encountering.
In Morrow’s opinion, all that should matter is how Nick and Sally feel about their relationship, so he’d like to see them tune out everyone against them.
Of course, Sally is pregnant with Adam’s child, so there’s pretty much no way that Morrow’s wish can come true completely unless she loses the baby or there’s a paternity change.
Adam is in the picture whether Nick and Sally like it or not, so their relationship can’t just be about the two of them. It’ll have to be about Adam and his little girl, too!
Even so, it’s interesting to hear how Courtney Hope and Joshua Morrow feel about the Y&R couple they’re currently portraying.
Is there really any chance of a Sally and Nick endgame or is Sally destined to end up back together with Adam?
