The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) may lose in more ways than one soon enough. When Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) first heard about Devon’s decision to take his fight for Hamilton-Winters to court, she voiced some big concerns.
Devon is used to getting his way and delivers threats when someone goes against him.
The same thing happened during Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) custody drama.
Devon made a legally binding agreement to be Abby’s sperm donor and then decided that’s not what he wanted anymore.
Once Devon fought for visitation rights as Dominic’s biological father, Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) caved to avoid a nasty court battle.
In the end, Chance and Abby decided it was the best outcome for Dom.
It’s a familiar scenario since Devon signed all the contracts and agreed to this merger. Now that things aren’t going Devon’s way, he wants out.
The difference is Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) isn’t willing to surrender like Abby did – and that could certainly change the outcome.
Abby warned that Devon should be prepared to lose, but he refused to even acknowledge that as a real possibility.
Since Devon is so convinced that he’s right, there’s a good chance Y&R’s setting him up for a crushing blow.
Devon may lose this lawsuit, so what’ll happen to his relationship with Lily if that’s the case?
Lily has vowed to support Jill in this courtroom war, so the tension with Devon will escalate even further.
