The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show could use a villain now that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is out of the picture. Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is gone as well, so there’s a void without any major baddies around.
However, Y&R could have an exciting comeback in store if they’re willing to undo one character’s untimely passing. Could Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) still be alive?

It doesn’t have to necessarily fit with what we’ve already seen if the show’s determined to make it happen.
Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) security team staged an accident to cover up Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) role in Ashland’s demise, but there’s plenty of wiggle room to fix that.
Fans never saw the body again after it was moved from Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) living room floor, so maybe some trickery went down.
Ashland was born Bobby DeFranco and took a chance at a new life when the real Ashland Locke perished in a car crash.
We know Ashland has experience with making people believe he’s gone forever, so maybe he’s done it again.
If Ashland is still alive, will he come back to Genoa City for revenge or redemption?
There would obviously be more opportunities for drama if Ashland wanted his enemies to pay!
Ashland was definitely a villain by the end of his run, so perhaps he’ll make a sinister comeback somewhere down the road.
After all, Ashland’s name has been dropped like crazy on the show lately, so that could be the first sign that his return is in the works.
Victoria doesn’t even want to think about Ashland and the mistake she made trusting him, but she’ll have no choice if he pops up again and wants vengeance.
Nick and Victor could also become targets along with anyone else Ashland might be holding a grudge against.
Ashland could even kidnap Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), which sounds like the perfect way to bring Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) back together.
