The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may be headed down a risky path. Many Y&R fans complained when Jack schemed to steal the necklace from Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) Chicago apartment and frame Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) with it.
Of course, we’re also seeing Jack rush into this reunion with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Jack obviously proposed way too fast, but there’s a good reason for all the out-of-character decisions he’s making.
Jack hasn’t been in love and truly happy in quite some time.
Now that Jack’s got a little taste of that bliss again, it’s intoxicating for him. Jack is chasing a high right now and it’s setting him up to go off the rails.
Unfortunately, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will inevitably be right about Jack setting himself up for devastation.
Diane comes with a lot of drama and baggage, so her relationship with Jack seems doomed!
What happens once Jack comes crashing down from cloud nine?
Jeremy and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are working on a plot to frame Diane, so Jack may end up absolutely livid.
Some behind-the-scenes info points to Phyllis’ faked death, so Diane could easily get arrested for her murder.
Can you imagine how angry Jack will be if he thinks Jeremy killed Phyllis and pinned it on Diane?
Although Jack clearly has issues with Phyllis these days, part of him will always love her.
Jack’s heart will also break for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), so he should be deeply saddened once he believes Phyllis is gone for good.
It should also be obvious to Jack that Diane has been framed in retaliation for what they did to Jeremy.
If Diane ends up in a jail cell because of Jeremy’s actions, Jack will be even more furious.
Jack could easily be gearing up for a sinister transformation – one that leaves him as ruthless as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when he’s been wronged.
We may see Jack shed his nice guy persona entirely and order a hit on Jeremy sooner or later.
Diane previously admitted she’d murder Jeremy if that was an option, but Jack insisted it wasn’t.
After Jeremy causes so much chaos, Jack may change his mind and decide Diane’s deadly strategy is the answer.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will get some crushing news eventually, so it could lead to some updates in the way he handles Jeremy Stark!
